Summer of Horror Cover Love – Horror Books With Purple(ish) Covers

Turns out purple isn’t a very popular color for horror covers, but I’ve managed to find eleven that have purple in them (some are more purple than others!) I have only read four of these, and  five are on my TBR.

The Last Witch by C.J. Cooke

Play Nice by Rachel Harrison

House of Monstrous Women by Daphne Fama

American Rapture by C.J. Leede

Lute by Jennifer Thorne

The Workshop of Filthy Creation by Richard Gadz

Snake-Eater by T. Kingfisher

Moonflow by Bitter Karella

Sour Cherry by Natalia Theodoridou

Of Beasts by M. Jane Worma

Death At the Door by Olivia Blacke

And in case you missed the other colors, I’ll keep a running list here:

Horror Books With Yellow Covers

Horror Books With Pink Covers

Horror Books With Red Covers

Horror Books With White Covers

Horror Books With Green Covers

What purple horror books would you add to the list?

  1. Purples my favourite colour but I’ve noticed that you don’t get too many fantasy books with covers in that colour either. These all look great together and a few of them are on my TBR too. I love the shade they’ve gone for with The Last Witch and the way the colour shifts on Snake-Eater especially.

  2. Turns out purple is an excellent colour for horror, so many of these are bangin’ covers! I’m kind of intrigued by Of Beasts even though I’m seeing the reviews are quite mixed. Adding The Workshop of Filthy Creation to my tbr though!!
