It wouldn’t be Wyrd & Wonder without a list, so today I’ve put together twelve upcoming adult fantasy books that I can’t wait to read. There are a lot of fantasy books coming out in the next six months or so, so this is obviously just a slice of what to expect. I’ve also decided to highlight mostly books that I haven’t talk about on the blog, so hopefully some of these are new to you too! Titles are linked to Goodreads if you’d like to read the whole story description, and I’m listing them in order of publication date.

OMG there are so many I don’t know. My Goodreads shelves are gonna be FULL. I love the sound of The Witches of Cambridge, Witch Daughter, and The Scarlet Ball the most!
I can’t wait for a new Alice Hoffman!
Witch, Daughter is my most anticipated read from this list but so many of them sound fantastic. I’m particularly intrigued by Witches Of Cambridge and Bodies Of Magic. I’ve also added half of these to my TBR too as a lot were new to me. Im very curious about the last title as it sounds extremely different from the authors usual ones. Lovely list.
I agree, I think this might be Joanna van Veen’s first fantasy book!
You’ve succeeded, they are ALL new to me. 🙂 I really like the cover for Wickhills.
LOL! Yes, I love that cover too.
I’ve been wanting to read more Freya Marske, and Bodies of Magic looks good! These all look so interesting!
Me too! I didn’t finish her last series but this new one sounds excellent.
I WANT to read Strange Is the Light.
Me too, I loved her last book and this sounds very different.
Wow there are some good sounding books here. I really want to read The Witches of Cambridge as well as Goblin Market. Looks like you have a lot of good reading ahead.
Witches of Cambridge is going to be a must read for me:-)
I love to see the possibilities. I have read a fe of these authors before.
There are so many fantasy books coming up to choose from:-)
Maybe Strangebrew Apothecary!
I do love the sound of that too:-)
with always gorgeous covers!
Thanks Emma!
Mr. Mendlebee’s Pandimensional Literary Repository… yep, you had me just with the title. I can never resist a book about bookshops and libraries.
Some of these titles are so long, but Mr. Mendlebee’s is almost ridiculous, lol.
I’m very happy to see a new AJ Hackwith book on the way!
I’ve never read Hackwith but this one sounds really good:-)
Will definitely be adding Witch Daughter to my TBR. And that cover is just stunning. The Scarlet Ball also caught my eye. Thank you for sharing!
Yes, that cover is fantastic!
These all look interesting I will have to keep an eye out for them!
Oh no… my TBR just exploded. I’d only heard of a handful of these. But they all look so good! Thanks for sharing!
I have been looking forward to a new release of AJ Hackwith. Even if I still have to finish their other trilogy haha.
Thank you for this list! I have been so behind on all blogging stuff on general and haven’t been paying attention at all to what’s coming out. Made sure to add all these to the watch list!
I’m so excited for so many of these as well, especially Wickhills–it sounds amazing and I loved one of her previous books. Bodies of Magic is also really calling out to me.
Great list. My most anticipated book though has to be the Hoffman. I can’t wait for that.
Lynn 😀
