#SciFiMonth 2020 Wrap Up & Giveaway!

ARTWORK by Tithi Luadthong from 123RF.com

What a crazy but fun month! November always goes by way too fast, and this year was no exception. I had a stack of SF books I wanted to read this month, but alas I only got to a handful of them. But still, I was happy to start a hopefully new tradition with my Self Published Sci Fi Saturday posts, and I had a blast finding upcoming 2021 SF books to share with you.

And let’s all give a big round of applause to our hosts, imyril from onemore.org and Lisa from Dear Geek PlaceThank you for rounding up all the posts with your awesome organizational skills! My one regret is that I didn’t spend enough time checking out new blogs, but I will try to catch up soon.

I always do a giveaway at the end of the month, and this year you’ll have over 95 books to choose from! Two winners will be selected and they will be able to choose any science fiction book I talked about this month. Even better, it’s international! To help you choose, I’m leaving links below to all my SciFiMonth posts. Many of these books don’t come out until 2021, so if you select one of those, it will be preordered for you.

Let’s get started! (take a deep breath, this post is a long one…)

OMG! So many books!! I’d have to think long and hard to pick just one. Please allow me to defer choosing till I’m lucky enough to win. Thanks

  2. Quite a few?! You killed it! I’m convinced the golden age of sci-fi never ended. So many amazing new works I want to read here.

      • Oh and forgot to mention I’d probably go with Persephone Station for the giveaway. Can’t resist a space opera and it comes out right on my bday (a sign?) Thanks for the chance!

This is amazing! And thank you so much for the giveaway Tammy, if I was lucky enough to win I’d pick The Infinity Courts 🙂

  4. Summer

So many good options, I think I’d choose Sky Without Stars by Jessica Brody. Thanks for doing this giveaway!

  5. That’s a great list of books, Tammy! I’d go for Phlebotomist, I think… 😉 Though Day Zero and Fugitive Telemetry are also very tempting 😀

  6. I’ve read Rainbow in the Dark (which is, actually, contemporary YA in a sci-fi body – review to come, but I rated it 4 stars) and The Apocalypse Seven (again, review to come, and I rated it 3.5). I’m really looking forward to Dead Space, because I love everything Wallace has written! And there are a few others on your lists that caught my eye. Thank you for the INT givvy!

So many books! It’s better than being a kid in a candy store. Will add all to my TBR. I would choose the Phlebotomist as it sounds fascinating. Thank you.

  8. This is real eye opening to look back and see just how much you mentioned in November. Wow! Tough to choose just one, and though there are some future releases I’d love, I suspect I’d choose Stormblood so I wouldn’t have to wait as long to enjoy it. 🙂

  9. It was an amazing event! I think Sci Fi Month just goes on getting better and better! I’m kicking myself for not getting back in touch with you regarding Self Published Sci Fi Saturday – I forgot. And then once November started, I figured it was thoroughly unfair to suddenly pop out of the woodwork and say, hey – can I join in?? If you do the same thing next year – I’ve resolved to be more organised:)).

In the event of winning your giveaway (you are a generous soul, Tammy:)) I would like a copy of Star’s End by Cassandra Rose Clarke, please:)).

I’m undecided between The Infinity Courts by Akemi Dawn Bowman and The Ones We’re Meant to Find by Joan He, both sound amazing.

Thank you for the chance!! 🙂
