Welcome to Future Fiction, my reimagining of the Waiting on Wednesday meme! There are so many amazing new books coming out, that I can no longer pick just one. My goal with Future Fiction is to share at least three new books each week, a combination of recent cover reveals and books that I’ve recently added to my TBR pile. I’m still going to be linking up with Wishful Endings/Can’t Wait Wednesday, and I also want to give a shout out to Jill at Breaking the Spine for starting the original Waiting on Wednesday meme. We’re switching genres this week! Take a look at these three, gorgeous upcoming fantasy books, all in shades of orange, purple and red:-)

Moonshine Becomes You by Olivia Waite. Releases in June 2027 from Bramble. I love the play on words in the title, and the story sounds really good! I’m loving Waite’s Dorothy Gentleman series, and I can’t wait to read this!

I haven’t even read the first book in this series, but the second has already been announced, how exciting! And really, don’t we all need a sweet, funny mystery that revolves around butterflies right now? 🙂
This charming and heartwarming cozy sequel to The Tricky Business of Faerie Bargains finds Poppy Hill once again navigating the complex loopholes of faerie contracts while still making a mean french toast when she returns Otherside to help a new friend.

The Uncanny Art of Faerie Contracts by Reena McCarty. Releases in April 2027 from Orbit Books. I really enjoyed the first book in this series, The Tricky Business of Faerie Bargains, so I’ll definitely be reading this as well.
Moonshine Becomes You looks like fun — especially since I love the Dorothy Gentleman books! Great picks this week!

The cover of Moonshine Becomes You is stunning. And I didn’t realize The Tricky Business of Faerie Bargains was gonna have a sequel…not gonna lie, I’m kinda glad I didn’t pick it up as an ARC, then, because I have too many series already to start and finish!

All these books look amazing, but I’ve just bought the audiobook version of The Tricky Business of Faerie Bargains as I love the sound of this one:)). Thank you so much for sharing these books – I think! My TBR is completely out of control and I probably should be grateful that you have been concentrating on Horror over the summer:)).

The way my jaw dropped at the cover for Moonshine Becomes You! And then the words ‘monster speakeasy’ further convinced me I need to add to my tbr! The Chrysalis Conundrum also sounds so good, you’re so good at finding upcoming gems!
I was just looking at Tricky Business yesterday and wondering if I needed to make a cozy fantasy TBR for myself because so many came out this year. Great finds!
All of these covers are stunning. I havent started either of the two series yet but both are on my TBR and I’m pretty sure my current read is going to leave me with some major fae cravings so perhaps I’ll be getting to Faerie Bargains sooner rather than later. The first book definitely sounds interesting too. Hope you enjoy all of these.
All new to me authors and they all look so gorgeous. I would probably opt for the third by Reena McCarty – because fae bargains – but obviously I’d have to try and grab a copy of the first before tucking into that one.
