I’m linking up with Top Ten Tuesday. Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish and is now hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl. Check out upcoming Top Ten themes on Jana’s blog!
This week we’re focusing on one word titles, and it turns out I’ve read a lot of really good ones! I went through my Goodreads “Read” list and picked the last twelve 4, 4 1/2 or 5 star books I read, so this was pretty easy. These are listed in order from the most recent reads, take a look:
Anyone by Charles Soule | Infernal by Cheryl Low | Sabbath by Nick Mamatas | Ormeshadow by Priya Sharma | Ration by Cody T. Luff | Wanderers by Chuck Wendig | Recursion by Blake Crouch | Middlegame by Seanan McGuire | Titanshade by Dan Stout | Vengeful by V.E. Schwab | Westside by W.M. Akers | Pariah by W. Michael Gear
Okay, the cover for Sabbath (and the title itself) is EPIC!
I know, it’s such a cool cover!
Wanderers! Yay! I haven’t read Recursion yet but I’ve been meaning to. And the Michael Gear series but I don’t think it starts with Pariah.

Pariah is the third book, I think, so you’ll definitely want to start with Outpost.
Great list! I really want to try Middlegame.

Ooh it’s sooo good!
I was actually surprised that I had as many one-word titles as I did. I actually tried to back some so I could show some different books. However, I did feature two I read within the last week. What a coincidence huh? I have Middlegame and really need to make time for it.
Great list! I have Wanderers on mine too… and I guess I must have done this off the top of my head rather than actually looking at my bookshelves, because Recursion and Middlegame skipped my mind completely.
I didn’t even try to do mine off the top of my head, lol.
Did you like Vengeful better than Vicious? I didn’t finish Vengeful, but I loved Vicious!!
I loved both of them, maybe Vicious a little more. But I didn’t go back very far for this list so I never got to Vicious.
I love the cover for Wanderers.
My TTT .
Me too!
OH my gosh! Sabbath’s cover is so metal. A lot of these are new to me and I only read Vengeful which was so good.
I know, I just love the cover of Sabbath too:-)
Ooh Infernal is on my list to get. I might have seen it herer haha. and Recursion *nods vigorously*
I love all these cool one word titles I’m seeing this week!

Me too, and I’m seeing lots of titles I forgot to include:-/
I’m so glad to see Titanshade and Westside on your list! Great picks!
I couldn’t leave them out:-)
Middlegame is on my reading list for this month. I just hope I have time to squeeze it in because I have a lot on my plate this month but want to get some reading in too 😉

I hope you enjoy Middlegame, Olivia!
Wow, there are a lot more great one-word title books than I thought! I’ve read many of these.

Yes, they are everywhere, lol.
I’ve keep meaning to make time for Wanderers and Middlegame! Both sound so good! My TTT for my top SFF titles 🙂
Both are amazing, hope you can read them some time.
Thank goodness for Goodreads. I don’t think I could’ve done this prompt without it. xD Wanderers was one of the first books I thought of, but I haven’t read it yet! Goodness knows I need to. Middlegame! I forgot about that, but I still need to read it, too.

I know, Goodreads saves me ALL the time for posts like this:-)
I haven’t read any Seanan McGuire but Middlegame’s cover is definitely convincing me that I should! And I want to read Vengeful so badly 😀
Both of those are must reads!
I haven’t read any of those yet! Argh, there are too many books, lol.
Agreed, it’s not fair:-/
I can’t believe I forgot to include Recursion on my list this week. That’s definitely one of my favorite one-word book titles.
Hey, I forgot a bunch of favorites too:-)
I keep wanting to read Recursion, it looks so good. I have to figure out a way to squeeze it in with all the other reading I have planned this year LOL. Great list~!
I love seeing Ration on here – such a good book.
Lynn 😀
I really want to read Wanderers, and I fancy Recursion too for something a bit different. Great list 🙂
