Taking a Break from Life. Be Back Soon.

You may be wondering why I haven’t been posting recently, and that would be a really good question. Unfortunately, I was struck down by the nasty influenza beast and I’m now on my EIGHTH day of being sick. I actually feel well enough to write this post, so hopefully that means I’m on the upswing. So, when everyone says you should get a flu shot? You should really do that. I’m REALLY going to do that next year. This has been the worst bug I’ve ever had, and I don’t get sick that often.

The worst partโ€”other than the constant fever and inability to keep my eyes openโ€”is that I’ve technically had all this “free” time and I haven’t felt like reading at all. So I’m way behind on that. I also haven’t had any desire to visit other blogs or leave comments, so I do apologize for not stopping by. I miss you all and I hope to be back to normal soon! I also hope to start posting more next week, we’ll see how I feel tomorrow. And if all goes well, I might be able to go back to work Monday.

Stay healthy, folks!

  1. Feel better soon, Tammy! I heard you were down with the flu and my thoughts have been with you. And totally understand the complete and utter lack of desire to read while you’re sick. I came down with a nasty bug last month and all I managed were audiobooks, because I was feeling too miserable to focus. Take it easy, and looking forward to your return!

  2. Marian

Always take care of yourself. Hope you’re on the downside of this crud and completely well soon.

  3. Feel better soon! And sick time is not free time! I know I get the same way when I’m really sick, wish I could read, but just can’t. The books and the blogs aren’t going anywhere so Rest up! And we look forward to hearing from you when you’re feeling better and are up to it.

  4. Isn’t that always the way?! Any time off is extra reading time but when you’re feeling rotten and sick it just feels like lost reading time ๐Ÿ™ Hope you feel better soon!
