Buffy’s Corner 10/4/26 – Looking at the Week Ahead

Welcome to Buffy’s Corner, where I take a look at what’s coming up this week on the blog! I’m linking up with The Sunday Post over at Kimberly’s blog, The Caffeinated Reviewer.

You’ll be happy to know I finally finished cataloging and shelving my “S” books, and I’m on to T. I’m hoping by the end of the year I’ll be able to write up a post about my library. Although maybe it’s only exciting to me, lol.

The weather here is pretty nice, in the mid-70s to the low 80s, although I do feel bad for folks in the Los Angeles area, where they’re having a heat wave with highs in the low 100s! Ugh. I guess living at 6000 feet has its benefits, lol. I hope everyone is reading something good this week:-)

Upcoming reads & reviews:

Once again I went completely rogue with my reading plans. I decided to pick up two novellas that weren’t even on my list last week: Find Me Where It Ends and The Killing of a Chestnut Tree. Both were amazing, and I will probably post reviews of both this week. I’m currently reading Mazywood (I’m loving it so far but have NO idea where it’s going, lol), which will take me most of the week since it’s about 500 pages, and then it’s time to dive into my most anticipated book of October, Off the Reservation.

Other posts this week:

Tuesday it’s time for a quarterly check-in as I share my most anticipated books of the 4th quarter; and Wednesday is Future Fiction as usual.

In case you missed:
