Welcome to Buffy’s Corner, where I take a look at what’s coming up this week on the blog! I’m linking up with The Sunday Post over at Kimberly’s blog, The Caffeinated Reviewer.
It was a short work week, which was nice! My daughter’s birthday is this week but we’re not getting together until the weekend. I can’t wait to see my kids:-) Otherwise everything is pretty normal with nothing exciting to report, although we had rain all day last Sunday and it was lovely. Can you believe it’s almost the middle of September? I mean WTF. I hope everyone has a great week!
Upcoming reads & reviews:
This week look for reviews of Something of a Calling (very strange!) and She’s a Doll (also very strange but I’m enjoying it a lot more). Next, I might pick up Our Cut of Salt or Incarnate. I have so many September books to choose from, I’ll probably just pick based on my mood:-)
Other posts this week:
Once again, it’s going to be a light week on the blog. Wednesday I have three new books to share on Future Fiction, and other than that, I’m not sure what else I’ll be posting other than reviews.
In case you missed:
My posts from last week:
This Movie Doesn’t End the Way We Want by Hailey Piper – Review 3/5 stars
Newbourne Park by Jennifer Thorne – Review 5/5 stars

We had some rain (on Thursday) as well, and we can finally breath! Have a nice family reunion, and say happy birthday to your daughter from me.
What’s with the similar-shade-of-pink covers? LOL. Really curious about those two “very strange” books.
I love the Badger pic!
(*breathe* LOL).
🙂
I definitely will! And yeah, I’ve noticed bright pink seems to be trending these days:-)
I have a review copy of Our Cut of Salt coming in soon, so I’m looking forward to seeing what you think of that!
And awww, Badger.
We will be comparing notes!
It doesn’t make sense to me that we’re already halfway through September. ..
I agree, what is happening with time??
Badger and his little cow are so cute!
They are:-) Thanks Stormi!
Awww Badger and his new plushie cow… Look at them posing together, so adorable!
He has a bunch of these cows, in various states of newness, lol.
We had some rain and a few days or part of days with fall like weather. Including today, but tomorrow is supposed to get into the 90s again. Ugh. Love Badger and his new cow stuffy. So cute! Have a good week!
Thanks Lisa, you too:-)
Enjoy the rain!

I was keeping up until now but September is passing too quickly!
Thanks for sharing your week, enjoy your weekend with your kids!
Thank you Shelleyrae!
I hope your daughter has a lovely birthday and that you all have a wonderful time together at the weekend. Badger looks adorable with his new toy. I look forward to seeing your upcoming reviews, especially for She’s A Doll. Why I’m so drawn to that one when dolls give me the creeps I do not know lol. Hope you have a lovely week.
Thank you Charlotte:-) I loved She’s a Doll, despite the creep factor! Have a wonderful week.
Happy Birthday to your daugther! I am a virgo too.
Thanks Bree! Virgos are the best:-)
It looks like your reading is still very summer of horror based! At least, judging by the book titles!
yeah no, I can’t believe it’s almost the middle of September either. & happy birthday to your daughter! I’m always a huge fan of seeing Badger pictures!!
Badger and his cow!!!! OMG stop. I’m dying.
Awww, Badger is solo cute with his new cow!! And happy belated birthday to your daughter!!
I hope you had a fantastic time for your daughter’s birthday..
Badger and his cow – it sounds like the start of a children’s book series.
