Welcome to Buffy’s Corner, where I take a look at what’s coming up this week on the blog! I’m linking up with The Sunday Post over at Kimberly’s blog, The Caffeinated Reviewer.
Our weather is finally cooling off a bit, and this coming week the high for each day starts with a “7” 🙂 So I am very happy! No rain yet, but I know it’s coming at some point. Next weekend is a long weekend in the U.S. so I’m counting down the days. I hope everyone has a great week!
P.S. The photo I’m sharing below is a compositive photo. My hubby took the moon photo separately and added it to the highway photo in photoshop. I think it’s pretty cool!
Upcoming reads & reviews:
I started The Burn Line last week but it’s very slow in the beginning, so I set it aside to pick up Kiss Slay Replay, which I blazed through in a couple of days, it was so much fun! Not surprising for a Rachel Harrison book:-) Look for my review on Thursday. I’m continuing with The Burn Line and hope to review it later in the week. After that I’m diving into my September releases, and This Movie Doesn’t End the Way We Want and Something of a Calling are probably going to be next.

Hurrah for lower temps! Wishing you much rain — it’s finally happened here and rains at least a bit every day, which is much more like normal.
I reaaaaally want to read more of Rachel Harrison’s work; I forgot about that during my book spree… oh well, soon people will be bugging me to make a Christmas list, haha.

The picture is very cool! I love how you said it was done. So creative! We had heat, but then this morning it was so nice outside to sit with the dogs for a bit, but it’s going to warm up again this week I think. Hope this is a good week for you!

Wow that photo is gorgeous! Temps that begin with a 7 are great, enjoy the week and your books. I cannot wait for the upcoming 3 day weekend, I took Tuesday off to make it 4 days off.
Summer of Horror was fun, I can’t believe it’s coming to an end already.
I’m counting down the days to Labor Day weekend, too! And we actually got rain this weekend in Salt Lake. Lots of it. It’s been so nice. I love the slight cooldown in temps. And boy did we need the rain. 😀
It was starting to cool off here but now we’re going to be in the 90s this week. I’d normally complain, but I’m sad we’re at the end of summer, so I’ll allow it lol.
Enjoy the heat! And hopefully it won’t extend into Fall:-)

Absolutely enjoy that nice weather! Today was in the mid/high nineties with lots of humidity. Step outside and immediately start sweating. Just feels heavy. I’m expecting to see the paws of a werewolf at the bottom of that photo, just standing and watching all the prey driving by below. 🙂 Summer of Horror is NEVER over!
