Not much happened this week, other than work was very busy and the awful heat is still hanging around. I got to see my kids on Saturday for shopping and lunch, that was fun!
Upcoming reads & reviews:
I wanted to read a few September releases this month and I’ve just finished my first one! Look for my review of Worry Box tomorrow. It was intense! I’ll also review A Plagued Sea this week. After that, I’ll read two upcoming August releases, Devil Inside and The Calamities.

Happy Sunday and thanks for the shout-out! I love that bird picture. Lately I’ve been noticing a lot of red-winged blackbirds – more than what I usually see, it seems like.
I have never seen a red winged blackbird up here, but I do love them:-)

ooh, great idea to use a Google sheet instead of one of the link up things. I have issues with all the linky things still available these days and end up not being able to use them. Bird picture is beautiful! I am also soooooo tired of this awful heat. I am behind on reading reviews too! I’m hoping once I get to the actual 4 day school weeks in September, I’ll be able to use Mondays for getting lots of commenting done. And you have several reviews I need to check! Have a great week!

So far Devil Inside is very weird, but I’m not surprised. But it’s pulling me into the story so that’s a good thing!
The “awful heat” is in full force here as well…I want to cry . I hope the upcoming week will be less stifling (and busy) for you!

Ugh, yes, we’ve had some cooler days here but it’s always just a day or two and the inferno just comes right back. My energy is flagging! May we both survive a little longer, haha…

Yay a link up sheet!!! Thank you! I put the book titles and authors instead of the title of my post. I hope that’s ok. Since I only do a weekly post I’ve got everything but the kitchen sink in my posts and the titles usually have nothing to do with the books reviewed. LOL If you need me to change them to the actual post titles, I can do that. Not sure how it all works.

While I’m on tack with August reads, I can’t even look at September ones until I finish more of August. I want to stay indoors out of the heat this week.
I’m just trying to get ahead, because September is out of control. I may have to go back and read some August books later.
