Welcome to Buffy’s Corner, where I take a look at what’s coming up this week on the blog! I’m linking up with The Sunday Post over at Kimberly’s blog, The Caffeinated Reviewer:-D
My big news this week is that I secured a back-up hotel for Comic Con in July. When I say “back-up” I mean in case I don’t get a hotel during CC’s open hotel registration, which will be much less expensive, lol. So I’m hoping I can cancel the back-up at some point! But in any case, it’s one less thing to worry about.
I have many new Costa Rica photos to share, so there’s another one at the end of this post. I love that my hubby sees different animals and birds each time he goes there. Otherwise, not much new happening here! I hope everyone has a great week:-)
Upcoming reads & reviews:
Last week I read two excellent books, Forgotten Sisters and A Haunting in the Arctic. Look for reviews of both books this week! I’m not sure what to read next, but I do need to make a dent in my March books. Three Kinds of Lucky and Diavola will probably be next.
Other posts this week:
I have so many new books to share, but I had to pick three for Future Fiction on Wednesday; I may try to pull together a Friday Face-Off; and I may do a book haul post on Saturday. Sorry, just not sure about my plans at the moment, lol.
In case you missed:
My posts from last week:

Awww, the pic is so beautiful!! And yay for the Comic Con!!
Thanks Susy!
Awwww the baby Howler Monkey. SO SMOLL! How adorable!
I know, I adore that baby:-)
I think you are so lucky to be able to go to something like ComicCon! Nothing cool like that around here…lol. Those monkeys are so cute!
Have a great week and happy reading!

It’s very hard to get tickets these days so I feel immensely grateful I’m able to go this year:-) Have a good week!
Sometimes we may want to fully plan things out well in advance, and other times it’s nice to just go with the flow. 🙂
So true. I am a planning by nature, but sometimes plans just don’t happen so it’s nice to be able to just go with things.
Aww, adorable mom and baby monkey! So cool! We’ve got our local Comic-con gong on here right now. If I wasn’t so broke, I’d have gone to meet the people from the Scream movies, especially Matthew Lillard. I hope you’re able to get the hotel you want when all that goes on sale too! Have a good week!

Thanks Lisa! I’m always amazed how many Comic Cons there are around the country.
I went to Costa Rica once! It was lovely, but a while ago…I think I had a DSLR camera at the time. Didn’t see much wildlife outside of the beach area, but I also wasn’t making an effort for that at the time ha. Thanks for sharing your husband’s photos!
Very cool! My husband isn’t afraid to take treks into the forest and down the rivers to shoot, and I think a lot of the animals hide there.
I always wanted to go to ComicCon when Sons of Anarchy was there but never did it. Love the baby Howler monkey.

It would have been easier to get tickets back then, I’m sure:-)
Good luck with your Comic Con plans…well, at least you secured a spot! but saving some money wouldn’t hurt, I guess ;).
Those monkeys are so beautiful – and so is the pic!

It’s way too much money for a hotel if I stay in this back up, lol. But hey, I hardly ever go anywhere so I don’t feel bad about spending it if I have to.
Those are cute monkeys.
Have a great week.

Thank you, you too:-)
I hope you’ll have an amazing time at Comic con! Also the Howler Monkeys are so cute! Your husband is so lucky to travel so much to take pictures.
Thanks Sophie! Those Howler monkeys are adorable, I agree!
Gorgeous photo! You’re going to Comic-con??? That’s awesome! It’s been a dream for years.
I haven’t been in five years, it’s super hard to get tickets these days, since it’s like a lottery system. So I’m happy to be going back (with my daughter!) and I’m going to enjoy every second!
Hope you have a great time at Comic Con. Can’t believe how quickly the time is passing, it’s not really that far away now.
Such a cute photo 😀

It’s going so fast! I wish time would slow down, seriously:-)
Very wise to book a back-up hotel for a huge event like Comic Con. Once of these days, I’ll make the Brit version – good for you getting tickets:)). And the howler monkey and her baby is fabulous. Have a lovely week, Tammy.
ComicCon!!! How fun!!!! And no, I’ve never gone. It just sounds fun. Is that the thing with my Walking Dead people????
