I had so many books on my October pile, and I feel like I barely made a dent. Personal life stuff happened (AKA new puppy in the house who completely upended my reading schedule), and other distractions. But what I did read was excellent. It was a solid month, with only one book falling below four stars. Here are the books I read and reviewed in October, and you can click on the titles if you missed my reviews:
Nice post
Glad you had so many great reads this month 😀

You read some great books though! And puppies can be quite distracting, I know the feeling. And only one 3 star read is amazing!

What a lovely distraction to have though. I’m glad the quality of books you read was great even if the quantity was less than usual.

A puppy is a great distraction! I’m glad the books you read were so good.
I only managed to read three books this month. I just finished The Kaiju Preservation Society by Scalzi and that’s my favorite.
I think I read most of your reviews, but you write too fast for me to be able to comment on all your posts LOL. You were on a fantasy roll, weren’t you? Which makes sense, what with Hallowing being around the corner.

You read such a great mix! I loved Dreambound — so glad you did too. Hope you have a great bookish November!
You did great and I feel your puppy pain. But they are such a joy too.
Even though you didn’t get to everything you wanted you did really well!

You had a great month, and, well, puppies are puppies. Distracting without even trying.
Lynn 😀
One of my favorites has been The Luminaries!
Looks like a great reading month! THE DAUGHTERS OF BLOCK ISLAND looks intriguing to me. I’m going to check that one out.

Dreambound is up at the library for me but I will have to postpone a week until I have read The Olympian Affair. CommentLuv stopped working for me yesterday?
You’re not the only one who felt like they didn’t make a dent in their October TBR! But there really were a lot of books. Glad so many worked out well for you.
I’m hoping to catch up with some of them in December:-)
Looks like a really solid reading month to only have one book rated below 4 stars! I requested Dreambound after your review, but when I didn’t receive any movement after about a week I decided to rescind my request just because I felt like maybe I should focus on what I have already. I’m glad I did because I fell behind in October, oops!
I know the feeling, I feel like I’m always behind, lol.
Looks like it was a fantastic reading month for you, even with all those extra distractions. 🙂 I think my favorite read of the month was either Piranesi or The Exorcist.
Oooh both great choices. I do still need to read Piranesi, but The Exorcist is a favorite:-)
It really does look like an awesome reading month! I have a lot of these on my TBR that I’m excited to get to. I didn’t get to nearly as many as I meant to this October, but it’s been a crazy month, I feel you on that!

I’m hoping the rest of the year will be a little calmer, bookwise. Maybe we can catch up!
Puppies and plan doesn’t go together well, but we love them all the same!!
And it seems lile your month was still good so… Yay!!
So true, puppies are worth it:-)
Lots of reviews for me to check out still! I’m going to make myself comment on 10 posts a day this week until I get caught up with all my commenting!
