At the beginning of the summer, I posted a list of horror books being released in June, July and August that I wanted to read, and now that summer is over, I’m looking back to see how well I did. I had 18 books on the list, and I managed to read 13, and I’m pretty happy with that number! Also, the books I didn’t get to I plan to catch up with in the next few months. Here’s a graphic of what I crossed off my TBR, and my reviews are linked if you missed any.
Congratulations, looks like you did really well.
I’ve only read Looking Glass Sound from this list, but have added Whalefall and Vampires of El Norte to my TBR list too 😀

I’d love to hear your thoughts on Whalefall if you get the chance to read it:-)
You did so well. Congratulations.
I’ve added Whalefall to my tbr already.
Lynn 😀
I hope you get to read Whalefall, it’s a wild ride!
Good job! I’m hoping to read Dead Eleven next month.
I really want to catch up with it, I hear it’s really good.
Wow – you did great. And most of them were rated pretty highly as well. I’d say it was a successful reading summer!
It was very successful!
I’d say you did great. I didn’t do any summer challenges although I wanted to. My reading took a dip and I feared that meant a slump coming.
Thanks. It’s the first time I’ve done anything over the summer like this. I might try it again next year. Good luck on your slump!
Wow! You did really great on this challenge. Well done, Tammy!
Thanks Stephanie:-)
Wow! Great job! The only one I’ve read of these is Whalefall (thanks to you!), and loved it.
Whalefall is definitely my favorite of the bunch!
Four out of eighteen books that are unread. Not bad.

Thanks Greg!
My summer of horror is going to be extending well into the spooky season and beyond! I think I did a pretty good job getting to all my horror reads as well. There are a few here that weren’t on my list, but I also had Schrader’s Chord and The Handyman Method.
Oh mine too! It’s more like Year of Horror, lol.
Wow, you did a great job on this challenge. I didn’t do any summer challenges this year.
I usually don’t do summer challenges, but I might start a tradition:-)
I didn’t join a challenge but made my own. To get to some books I’d been meaning to read since Covid hit. Still got a long way to go. I’ll be checking out some of these. I love horror!
