Welcome to Buffy’s Corner, where I take a look at what’s coming up this week on the blog! I’m linking up with The Sunday Post over at Kimberly’s blog, The Caffeinated Reviewer:-D
I hope everyone is having a lovely weekend! I just started watching The Last Of Us, and wow it’s pretty intense! Anyone else watching it? I’m also doing a rewatch of True Blood, which I haven’t seen since it aired in 2008. I had forgotten how raunchy it is, lol. But I’m enjoying it.
Upcoming reads & reviews:
Tomorrow I’ll post my review of What Lies in the Woods, wow it was so good! I’m currently working on Don’t Fear the Reaper and The Drift, and I’d love to get reviews of both up this week as well. After that, I’m starting World Running Down, which should be a completely different type of book than what I’ve been reading.
Other posts this week:
Tuesday I’m joining in Top Ten Tuesday; Wednesday is a new batch of cover reveals to share on Future Fiction; and check back on Friday to see what book I picked for The Friday Faceoff.

I started watching The Last of Us as well and “intense” is indeed the perfect word to describe it!
I particularly enjoy the dynamics between the gruff Pedro Pascal and the very animated Bella Ramsey, who made a huge impression on me on Game of Thrones with her memorable character

I did not recognize Bella Ramsey at first, just that she looked so familiar. The acting is pretty amazing!
The picture is so beautiful!!
Thanks Susy!
Well I wouldn’t mind a rewatch of True Blood either! And I tried to convince my husband to watch The Last of Us but he opted for the Good Doctor instead LOL
LOL those shows couldn’t be more different!
Yay! I love Kate Alice Marshall so much. I need to read that one soon!

I’m excited to read her upcoming YA book!
I haven’t watched The Last Of Us yet but I’m planning to since I heard great things about it!

I know! It’s that “fear of missing out” that got me to watch it.
I never finished True Blood because Vampire Bill was my favorite character and I didn’t like how his character was going, same for the books I never finished them either…lol.
Have a great week and happy reading!

I remember True Blood gets super cray later in the show. I may not be able to finish my rewatch, lol.
I’m watching The Last of Us. I just started a rewatch of The Walking Dead because I never finished it, got bored in the season after Rick left when it took the jump into the future. Hoping if I binge it I’ll get through it all the way. I have been thinking about a rewatch of True Blood too! Loved that series. Have a great week!

I never could watch The Walking Dead, it was just too violent/graphic for me, lol.
A friend at work was talking highly of The Last of Us. I never played the game but I remember how much Lashaan enjoyed it.
And I am watching it right now and it’s pretty awesome so far! A wonderful high-budget zombie survival show, with each episode almost as long as a movie. 😀
I didn’t realize how long the episodes are, but it definitely has the movie/cinematic quality that you don’t usually get in TV shows.
I think Lashaan may have put it on my radar:-)
I just can’t seem to get time to watch to watch tv, much less rewatch. Thankfully audiobooks lend themselves to chores and crafting so they are easier. Love the photo!

I know what you mean, I have to make myself sit down and watch TV. But there is so much I don’t want to miss, it’s hard!
I’m watching each new episode of The Last of Us too and am really enjoying the adaptation! Tell me those clickers aren’t scary!!! 😀
I started LAst of Us too and am two episodes in. the end of two… yikes.

I’ve just finished the first episode, so I know there’s a lot coming up. Can’t wait!
Those look like some good books . What Lies in the Woods and Don’t Fear the Reaper sound interesting.
Have a great week.

LOL hint: it’s not good.
I’m really looking forward to starting The Last of Us but I’m waiting for a few episodes to build up first. I just hope I manage to avoid spoilers while I wait 😀
