January 2023 – Reading Wrap-Up

January was a pretty good month! Just about everything I read was excellent. I managed to post nine reviews, which I’m very proud of. Now if I could only do that every month. Here are the books I reviewed in January, and you can click on the titles to read my reviews:

On the Savage Side by Tiffany McDaniel

Emily Wilde’s Encyclopaedia of Faeries by Heather Fawcett

Episode Thirteen by Craig DiLouie

How to Sell a Haunted House by Grady Hendrix

The Villa by Rachel Hawkins

The Keeper’s Six by Kate Elliott

One Girl in All the World (In Every Generation #2) by Kendare Blake

Lost in the Moment and Found (Wayward Children #8) by Seanan McGuire

Bad Cree by Jessica Johns

Have you read any of these books? What were your favorite January reads?

  1. Very nice! Glad to see they were heavily weighted on the positive side. My favorite reads of the month were Wayward by Chuck Wendig, The Angel Maker by Alex North and a reread of The Mist by Stephen King (audiobook version this time).

  2. Wow, nine reviews! I’m super impressed, my January has been so lackluster blogging-wise, haha. I’m glad you had such a great reading month! I need to get to the next Wayward Children book, and I’m super excited to check out How to Sell a Haunted House.

Oh wow, I can’t really say “enjoy” On the Savage Side because it’s a tough book to read, but also pretty amazing as a piece of literature.

  3. While overall January 2023 is a month I’d rather forget – on the reading side, like you, I had a fabulous time. And Emily Wilde was right up there with the best:)). Let’s hope February is as enjoyable!
