February wasn’t my best reading month, and I can’t really blame it for having less days that the other months. After being sporadically busy at work for the past two years, my industry has kicked into high gear. Companies are moving out of the pandemic and suddenly need office furniture. It’s been stressful and busy and at the end of the work day I’m almost too tired to focus on reading. So my reading has suffered, unfortunately, and I was only able to post seven reviews this month, far short of the review copies I was supposed to read. BUT in terms of quality, nothing I read this month was below three and a half stars, so I have to consider it a win. Here are the books I read and reviewed, and my reviews are linked if you’re interested:
You still had a good month! I fell back in my reading in February too, I think that applies to a lot of people now.
It was a distracting month, I guess:-)
I already earmarked The Great Witch of Brittany for my Wyrd and Wonder TBR, but there are a few titles I’m interested in among your recent reviews – all I need is some extra reading time… 😉

Oh good, I hope you enjoy it!
I also read Star and Bones and I feel a bit conflicted about that one. Still a 3 star read though. And I would like to read more in the universe.

I heard he’s working on a sequel, so hopefully we’ll get our wish:-)
Quantity-wise you may be disappointed, but quality-wise you had a great reading month!

I agree! Hopefully I can step things up quantity wise this month-)
Well, you’ve managed to get me to read Stars and Bones, but I’m not convinced I’ll like it as much as you did. Which is okay! Better is that you seem to have had a pretty good reading February, quality-wise. Hope March is at least as good! And I hope that work calms down soon!!
You’re not the only one who was sort of “meh” about Stars and Bones. I guess it’s a good thing we don’t all love the same things:-)
If you have to have a busy month that cuts back on your reading then it’s always a good thing for what you do read to be on the enjoyable side of the spectrum. Like you, I really enjoyed Sisters of the Forsaken Stars. My other two favorite reads for the month were probably You Sexy Thing (thank you!) and Cry Wolf. I hope your work transitions into a workable rhythm that lets you read as much as you’d like (or as close as you can given the need to work), and that the enjoyment factor is always there.
Work definitely is up and down when it comes to being busy. Hopefully it will spiral to the “down” position soon:-)
I think you did pretty good actually so I guess I can’t say anything else… lol… Happy March!

Thanks Freda, happy March to you too!
I haven’t read any of these yet, but I can’t wait to read The Paradox Hotel.
It’s a lot of fun, enjoy:-)
February was a blur and too short.
Right? It flew by and I don’t even know what I did.
I think my reading was a little off as well. I was busy at work and also distracted by the Olympics. Yay for having so many high quality reads though.

That’s right, the Olympics definitely affected my reading!
You still had a great month!
That’s still pretty good! I hope March will be easier for you at work.
I like the format of your recap

Thanks Emma!
Certainly some missed reviews here I’ll go sniff at! I really need to check out some Louisa Morgan, I forever adore books about witches.

Louisa Morgan is fantastic, I recommend all her books:-)
I’d stay it was still a pretty good month for you, Tammy! Lots of good books, at least 😀
Yes, I can’t complain about that:-)
Reminds me I really need to try to make the time for Bluebird!
This has reminded me to pick up the Good Neighbour.
Thanks
Lynn 😀
