October was just OK for me, simply because it felt like I was off my reading game and didn’t get to all my October review books. But I did manage to post eight reviews, so I guess it could have been worse! I enjoyed most of the books I read, although there was one that didn’t work for me at all (Summer Sons). Here are the books I read and reviewed this month, with links to my reviews if you missed any:
I’ve only read one of these! And my October reading went… I dunno actually lol, my month was so busy I wasn’t really paying attention. Plenty of time off this month, so hopefully it’ll go better. Hope your November is as good as your October was;)
Thanks Will! I’m looking forward to November:-)
Nothing But Blackened Teeth was fantastic, it just hooked me on so many levels, and A Spindle Splintered is one I’m dying to read!
You should definitely read A Spindle Splintered:-)
Well, I think that’s a great reading month (and you had your eye op too!). I was definitely off my game this month too although I was also trying to complete stage 1 of SPFBO in order to meet the deadline. Now that’s complete I need to do some catching up with reviews.
Lynn 😀

I can’t imagine how busy you are with SPFBO as well as your own reading. At least you’ll have a bit of a break now:-)
I really enjoyed These Silent Woods, but that’s all I’ve read of these. My reading month has bit a bit hit or miss with some really good stuff and some decent stuff. Thankfully, nothing I really disliked. I didn’t get much in the way of horror read, though I’d hoped to. Maybe I’ll try again in November. 🙂
It’s never too late to read horror!
I was off my reading game too! Maybe there’s just something about this October, I don’t know.

I think you’d enjoy it!
Great month! I need to get my reviews up as well 😀
Thanks Aina!
Overall not a bad reading month! I had way more two stars than you…lol. I will need to remember to do a wrap up because I think I have forgotten to do so last few months!!
Sometimes the end of the month sneaks up on you:-)
I ahven’t read any of these. But October was also an OK month for me.
I’m happy to be moving on to November:-)
I’ve heard a lot of great things about Summer Sons and yours is the first low rating I see for this book, I’m going to check your review because I’m very curious to read why you gave it such a low rating!
Eight reviews is still amazing, don’t beat yourself up Tammy!

I’m glad other people are loving Summer Sons. I felt bad rating it so low, so I guess it just wasn’t the book for me.
Summer Sons and Flowers for the Sea are probably off the table for me now, because from your reviews I don’t think either of those will work too well for me. If I have time I still might try them since they look short, but my Nov and Dec are going to be packed with plenty of catch up books already!
There are better books out there, I’m sure;-)
You read a bunch of good books last month! I’m just now starting to get around to go check out your reviews for November books.
