Welcome to Buffy’s Corner, where I take a look at what’s coming up this week on the blog! I’m linking up with The Sunday Post over at Kimberly’s blog, The Caffeinated Reviewer.
I hope everyone is having a lovely weekend so far! I am getting a lot done, including getting back to my personal library cataloguing project, which I’ve been “working” on for three years now, lol. I feel bad for my husband, who has been a great sport since my books are all over the house in piles, and I still have boxes (with books N-Z) taking up garage space. I’m vowing to finally get it done and make some space.
It’s still cold here (in the 40s and 50s) and it’s currently raining as I write this post. I’m really looking forward to nice Spring weather one of these days.
Upcoming reads & reviews:
This week is pretty crowded with “end of the month” and “beginning of the month” posts, so I may only post one review (Bodies of Work which will go up tomorrow). I’m currently reading The Café of Infinite Doors and This Kingdom Will Not Kill Me, both are very good so far. I plan on starting The Hive, but it’s a big book and I might read it alongside other books, so don’t expect a review for a few weeks.
Other posts this week:
Tuesday is a Top Ten Tuesday Freebie, and I always like to participate in those! Wednesday I have three new cover reveals to share on Future Fiction; Thursday will be my April Wrap-Up post; and Friday is May 1st (!!) so check back to see What’s On My Place for May.
In case you missed:
My posts from last week:
The Language of Liars by S.L. Huang – Review 4.5/5 stars
The Book Witch by Meg Shaffer – Review 5/5 stars
Top Ten Tuesday – Covers With Rainbow Colors
Japanese Gothic by Kylie Lee Baker – Review 4.5/5 stars

I hope you get all libraried-up soon! I’d love to see the results. How many books do you think you have now?
It’s been in the 40’s here, but we’ve actually gotten several days of snow (which is great because the drought is awful). I’m glad you’ve had a productive week!
I have at least 5000 books, that’s why I’ve been dragging my feet with this project. And I don’t have nearly enough space to put them, so it’s a bit depressing too.
Don’t hate me but… you maaaay need to whittle those down a bit?
Good luck on the project!
Thanks, I need lots of luck!
I can’t wait to see the result of your library cataloguing project! Good luck
Me too!
Beautiful picture of Badger! I. need to really go through my books again too. But my plan this summer is to go through all the other stuff I don’t need to be keeping if I want to keep a lot of my books. And maybe some writing, lol. We have had some really warm days, but then a lot of stormy weather here. It’s been chilly the last few mornings, but then in the 70s for the afternoon which is nice! Have a good week!
Thanks Lisa! Have a great week:-)
I’d forgotten about your cataloguing project! I should do something like that, too. Just yesterday I spent far too much time looking through my shelves for a book I was sure I had a hardcover copy of but still couldn’t find. No clue if I do actually have it, or if I need to go buy a copy. 🙂
I forgot about it too, lol. I will be so happy once I’m finished.
Hi Badger! The library project sounds like a lot of work — good luck! I went through all my shelves years ago and put everything into the Libib app… but over time, I’ve more or less forgotten about it, and by now, it’s not at all up to date. Sigh.
It’s hard to keep up with entering new books!
So happy you are feeling productive on the cataloguing. Yay Badger! I look forward to your thoughts on This Kingdom Will Not Kill Me.
I need to get back to reading This Kingdom Will Not Kill Me, I’m a bit unorganized with my reading right now.
Good luck with your project! What a beautiful picture of Badger. Enjoy your books and have a great week!
Thanks Yvonne, you too!
Your the One that I Haunt and Japanese Gothic both look so good to me. And good job on your project! That is always so satisfying to make progress.
Thanks Erin! It is satisfying. I just have to keep telling myself that, lol.
Good luck with your library project Tammy! I reorganized my main shelf this afternoon and it’s so time consuming!
It is time consuming! And my brain starts to spin after a while, lol.
Good luck on your cataloguing project! I hope you start getting warm weather soon!
Me too, I am tired of running the heater, lol.
I can’t believe April is already done!! Gasp!!
I am glad you’re enjoying the new Ilona Andrews book! I had such a good time with it!!
And good luck with your work in progress!!
Thanks Susy! April went so fast!
As ever – a lovely pic of Badger. I’m always awed at just what a handsome fellow he is! Best of luck with the library project – I’m guessing there’s hours and hours of work involved in sorting all the books out. I hope you get some sunny, warm weather soon. The cold easterly has finally stopped blowing and we’ve been having a taste of properly warm temperatures – though we could also do with some rain! Have a great week, Tammy:).
Thank you Sarah! The book sorting is overwhelming. I am on M (author last name), and I’ve come to the “McC” pile and I’m astounded at how many I have!
Good luck with your organisation task. I have all my books catalogued but when one of the kids moved back home I had to box up a few hundred of them and foolishly I didn’t note which box each book went into. Rookie error on my part.
Thanks for sharing your week
Thanks Shelleyrae. It can get confusing when you have a lot of books.
Badger and that background look beautiful together. I did notice The Hive is rather long. I have been trying to go through my shelves and unhaul some books I’m not interested in anymore. I simply don’t have enough space and I’m donating them and giving them away to people who might enjoy them so that’s a win. Hope you have a great week!
I wish I was better at unhauling! I just don’t know what to do with those unhauled books.
I have to start reading the longer books alongside other reads. I just jumped into another long one without thinking it through too carefully, lol.
