Today is a beautiful sunny day, but on Monday we actually got snow! The weather continues to be very weird. At least I’ve been reading lots of good books!
Upcoming reads & reviews:
This week I’m pushing to get three reviews posted, let’s see if I can pull it off! Tomorrow look for my review of Japanese Gothic, a mind-bending, timey-wimey story about a female samurai in 1877 and a college kid in the present day who meet via a closet/portal in an old Japanese house. Yes, it was as weird as that description sounds! I’m currently reading The Book Witch, which is a sweet, feel good story about a witch who jumps into novels to “fix” things when the characters veer off the plot. And after that, I hope to read a couple of novellas, Wife Shaped Bodies and The Language of Liars. We’re on the back end of April and I still have quite a few new releases I’m trying to read, wish me luck!

This last week it’s been in the 70s, but today and tomorrow it’s going to be in the 30s. I might have to get my winter coat back out!

I’m behind on reviews as I kept starting books that I thought the reviews were due, but they are later, so then I picked up another, and didn’t get any read. Wow Lulu is not big on hats. And snow! Well we got it in Minnesota in April not infrequently. Here it is summer heat but without humidity. Wishing you luck on getting in the reviews. I am dragging on my reading because life.

It always surprises me somehow when people talk about snow this time of year, even though I know in theory that there are plenty of climates where that happens, ahaha. Love the photo of Badger!
We sometimes get a quick snow shower in May too, so I don’t think winter is technically over for us…

The weather really has been all over the place lately. It was in the 80s-90s not so many days ago and then we had an overnight freeze that, unfortunately, did a lot of damage to the current apple crop at a local orchard we frequent. 🙁

We are in the beautiful warm weather during the week and cold and miserable on the weekend stage of spring. Ugh.
