Welcome to Buffy’s Corner, where I take a look at what’s coming up this week on the blog! I’m linking up with The Sunday Post over at Kimberly’s blog, The Caffeinated Reviewer.
Today I have two photos to share, my usual Badger photo, and one of my hubby’s owl photos from his recent trip to Canada. It’s been a lovely week here and definitely feels and looks like Spring. Some of our trees are blooming, it really is my favorite time of the year:-)
Not much else to report! I hope everyone has a great week and reads some good books.
Upcoming reads & reviews:
I finally finished The Red Winter! My review will be up tomorrow, and I really enjoyed it! I’m currently reading Crawlspace and A Widow’s Charm, and I may try to squeeze in The Cellar Below the Cellar this week as well. I’ll be reviewing Crawlspace later in the week, and maybe one of the others if I can fit it in.
Other posts this week:
Top Ten Tuesday is “books with green covers” in honor of Saint Patrick’s Day, and I’ve tweaked my list a bit (but I’m still going with the “green” theme); and Wednesday I’ll share three new book covers on Future Fiction.
In case you missed:
My posts from last week:
Ten Books With Ordinal Numbers in the Title
Wolf Worm by T. Kingfisher – Review 4.5/5 stars

Excellent photos! Some trees are starting to bud here too.
Thanks Lauren! I loved when the trees start to bud:-)
Oh, that owl photo is amazing!
I think I was curious about A Widow’s Charm; looking forward to your review!
Thank you! I love A Widow’s Charm so far, it’s not what I expected:-)
Two great photos! We are going from spring to winter! UGH! Tonight, will be 15 degrees! Booo!
Thanks Stormi! Sorry about the cold weather:-(
Really curious about Crawlspace. And I hope your early spring sticks!
That owl pic is stunning – your husband timed it perfectly. But we always love a Badger photo too ;).
Thanks Roberta! He probably took 1000 photos just to get that one great photo. I am about to finish Crawlspace and I have thoughts, lol.
Beautiful owl! It’s also looking like spring is coming here, too, though we had some weird weather. We hit 85 last Wednesday only for it to snow for a few hours the following day. Rather bizarre. But we have a first round of daffodils blooming and that makes me so happy. Anyway, I hope you have a great reading week!
Thanks Celeste! We have daffodils blooming as well, it’s like our reward for a cold winter:-)
Lots of great pictures! I’m behind on reviews again and you have so many I want to read! Hope you have a good week.
Thanks Lisa, you too!
Great photos! So nice to have spring weather again! Hope you have a great week 🙂
Thanks Lisa!
The Owl is gorgeous! And I saw Mogsy writing an excellent review of Red Winter so I am not surprised you loved it Tammy!
Thanks Sophie! Mogsy and I had very similar feelings about The Red Winter:-)
I enjoy all the photos but admit Badger is my favorite.
Mine too:-)
Always great to see a Badger photo! And that owl photo is absolutely stunning. Your hubby is quite talented with a camera.
He is very talented and works hard for those photos:-) Thanks Nicole.
Badger is so cute! Love to see the adventures he goes on.
Thanks Bree!
So many great creepy looking books. A Widow’s Charm looks so out of place in your otherwise darker reads.
LOL so true. I loved it though.
I’m reading A Widows Charm this week too.
Your hubby’s photo of the owl is spectacular.
Wishing you a happy reading week
I’m looking forward to comparing notes about A Widow’s Charm. Thanks Shelleyrae!
Great owl picture!
Thanks Emma!
Look forward to seeing what you made of Crawlspace.
Beautiful Badger.
Lynn 😀
Thanks Lynn!
Crawlspace and The Cellar Below the Cellar, interesting title theme there! I absolutely love Moses’ photo of the owl in flight. Fantastic! Owls are capable of such intense stares and he captured that perfectly. And of course, always love seeing more photos of Badger. 🙂
He loves owls so much, and he knows how to capture them for sure:-)
Badger!!! Love him. And that owl photo is stunning!!!!
Thanks Jinjer!
I’d love to get started on Crawlspace and A Widow’s Charm! But don’t you just get frustrated when you’re stuck on a book you feel like you have to finish before moving on to something else?
