February 2026 Reading Wrap-Up

I managed to review eight books this month, and I’m happy with that number since February is so short. It was a great month for reading! Nothing was rated below four stars, and I had two five star reviews this month. Here is what I read and reviewed in February, and my reviews are linked below if you missed them:

A Forest, Darkly by A.G. Slatter

The Rise by Alan Baxter

Dead First by Johnny Compton

Strange Animals by Jarod K. Anderson

Dollface by Lindy Ryan

Nowhere Burning by Catriona Ward

Krackle’s Last Movie by Chelsea Sutton

Nightshade & Oak by Molly O’Neill

What was your favorite February book?

  1. Wow, putting up 8 reviews in a month is impressive! And that they were all 4 stars or higher. My reading was a bit of a mixed bag in terms of star ratings, but overall positive. I hope you have a good reading month in March!

  2. Excellent job! And, all of the books you’ve read you gave high ratings to, I take that as a great sign as to what to expect whenever I read these titles!

  3. Veros @ Dark Shelf of Wonders

Eight reviews is great, well done! And I’m happy to see all of your reads got great ratings 🙂 ! Strange Animals sounds so interesting and I finally started a Molly O’Neill book today and enjoying it so I’m excited for Nightshade & Oak 🙂

You must be reading Greenteeth? I loved that one, I’ll be curious to hear your thoughts:-)

  4. Sounds like a fantastic month, how lovely to have nothing below four stars. I definitely need to pick up an A G Slatter title soon. Can’t wait to see what you read during March, hopefully even more five star reads are on the horizon.

It was nice for a change to have high ratings for the whole month. I think you would LOVE Slatter!

  5. I think I read 9 in February and I feel like some of them were shorter so it wasn’t as great a month for me as January. I also think I only had one 5-star read. Dollface was definitely a favorite for me last month.

  6. Looks like an awesome month! I only finished 3 books and my favorite was a reread of Dracula in the form of a full cast audiobook. 🙂
