I’m linking up with Top Ten Tuesday, which was created by The Broke and the Bookish and is now hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl. Check out upcoming Top Ten themes on Jana’s blog.
It’s a Valentine’s Freebie today, and my brain is sort of fried, so I figured highlighting a specific book cover color is the way to go. I’ve chosen pink covers, and you’ll notice there are so many different shades of pink to choose from. These are all books on my never ending TBR, and the genres are all over the place!
She’s a Doll by Barbara Truelove
Three Hitmen and a Baby by Rob Hart
The Photonic Effect by Mike Chen
Best Offer Wins by Marisa Kashino
For Human Use by Sarah G. Pierce
Books & Bewitchment by Isla Jewell

I’m really looking forward to Beth is Dead and The Photonic Effect. Great list!
Thank you! Beth is Dead sounds really good to me.
None on my TBR, but I checked a few, and I have to say, some plots sound great!
I went with red covers: https://wordsandpeace.com/2026/02/10/top-ten-red-covers-for-valentine/
I hope to read a bunch of these:-)
Pink is such an eye-catching colour!
It really is, and so unexpected at times.
Awesome way to find a VAlentines theme and still have it be creepy! 🙂 I love how pink can be used for horror too.
LOL I guess it’s creepier than you would expect for a Valentine’s theme:-)
I’ve never heard of these books before but these covers are stunning! I love how vibrant all the pinks are Great post!
Thank you! I do like the bright pink covers the most:-)
Oh this is so eye grabbing. I really enjoyed Books & Bewitchment
Good to know, it sounds like fun.
It’s kinda funny how the genres are really clearly different, and yet pink so often gets stereotyped as girly, ahaha. I love it when covers play with that perception, too…
I love when publishers surprise you with the cover. Some of these are books you wouldn’t expect to be pink!
Well done with this. I love seeing all these pink covers together and some of these are so creepy.
Lynn 😀
Thanks Lynn. Some are very creepy indeed…
Love all these pink covers! Very fun choice for this week’s TTT. And now I have to go look up Three Hit Men and a Baby. That sounds too good to pass up. ;D
Three Hitmen and a Baby is the third book in a series, and I highly recommend it!
These are all so deceptively pretty.
LOL, so true. Many of them are horror;-)
I see Beth is Dead popping up so often these days, makes me curious!
My TTT: https://laurieisreading.com/2026/02/10/top-ten-tuesday-love-is-on-the-tbr/
I’ve seen it all over the place too!
That’s a great color palette of pinks! I love that you started with bright hot pink and ended with a more pastel version.
I tried to create a pink ombre effect, lol.
Pink is a surprisingly versatile color, isn’t it? In spite of being pink, these covers are quite sinister…
Happy TTT!

There are quite a few horror titles on my list, lol.
These look beautiful together, I love how there’s a mix of vivid and pastel pinks involved. Im most intrigued by Beth Is Dead and really hope you love the Rob Hart title as I know how much you’ve been enjoying that series. Of course I hope you love them all though.
I can’t wait to read the Rob Hart book! And I did try to find different shades of pink. Some are almost red, but I used them anyway.
A very pink selection! And yet none of them are particularly pretty or soft – definitely a more unsettling selection. (Except maybe Books and Bewitchment – which I definitely need to hear your thoughts on when you get around to reading it!)
These are definitely genres I prefer, so they lean towards horror, but I am curious about Books & Bewitchment:-)
I love it when books have pink covers because I don’t see it that often!
Strangely, there seem to be lots of pink horror covers, lol.
This is so pretty!! The last four books are actually on my TBR! Great list.
Amazing how many different hues of pink have been used for some very memorable covers!
Loved your take on the theme! It’s so brightening to see all those pink covers together.
I like the pink! Great choices.
