Buffy’s Corner 12/21/25 – Looking at the Week Ahead

Welcome to Buffy’s Corner, where I take a look at what’s coming up this week on the blog! I’m linking up with The Sunday Post over at Kimberly’s blog, The Caffeinated Reviewer.

Christmas is this week, so Merry Christmas to those who celebrate! I’ll be spending quality time with my kids, and we’re all going to visit my parents Christmas day. I only have a couple of days off work, but that’s fine with me, because I have the whole week of New Years off instead (which I actually prefer). I hope everyone gets some relaxing time in this season, and of course, I hope you’re able to read a good book:-)

Upcoming reads & reviews:

Last week I read two January books—look for reviews next month! Tomorrow I’m reviewing Another One Bites the Past, which is a well written sci-fi story that features a very famous band. I’m currently reading 30Seven and may try to get a review up this week as well, although with Christmas coming up in a few days, we’ll see how that goes. I have one more December review book to read, An Arcane Inheritance, so that will be next. Then I’m diving back into my January books and will probably pick up Gates of Garnet and Gold after that.

Other posts this week:

Blogging is still on the light side this week, but look for my usual Future Fiction on Wednesday, and because it’s the last Saturday of the month, I’ll share my December book haul then.

In case you missed:

My posts from last week:

Future Fiction #361

  1. Aw, a fun silly picture of Badger! Love it! I hope you enjoy the holidays this week too. I’m hoping my winter break includes time to get caught up on reading all the reviews I’ve missed having time for the past month or so. Looks like some good books for. you! I’m enjoying the one I’m reading now, but without lunch at work I often miss out on those 30 minutes of just reading, especially when my dogs pester me at home while I’m eating, lol.
