Welcome to Buffy’s Corner, where I take a look at what’s coming up this week on the blog! I’m linking up with The Sunday Post over at Kimberly’s blog, The Caffeinated Reviewer.
I hope everyone in the US had a nice Thanksgiving. I had a lovely time on vacation in Morro Bay, although it was exhausting, especially having Badger along, since we had to take him with us everywhere. But I’m so glad he came. We found the best dog park I’ve ever been to, and we also found a dog friendly beach and Badger got to run around off leash and play with other dogs! We also did human things, like eat great seafood (the clam chowder and fish and chips there are amazing!), and I visited all the places I love (I’ve been going there since I was a kid so it’s a special place).
I also binged the first four episodes of Stranger Things, and I’m bummed we have to wait another month for the last four. Sooo good, very scary and much more violent than I remember!
Upcoming reads & reviews:
I know this looks a lot like last week, lol. I had big reading plans during my vacation, but it turns out it’s hard to read when you’re busy doing other things! I did finish The Everlasting, which was pretty amazing. I started The Blackfire Blade and Tea & Alchemy, and I’m sort of switching back and forth. I hope to review at least one of them this week:-) After that, I’m picking up Snake-Eater.
Other posts this week:
Monday I’ll share my December reading plans; Tuesday is a Top Ten Tuesday Freebie, and since I lost my Top Ten Books I Wish I Could Read Again for the First Time during my blogging issues, I’m going to repost it; and Wednesday is Future Fiction, so stop by to see three new books I found.
In case you missed:
My posts from last week:

You Watched In Silence by H. Lee Justine – Review 3/5 stars

Beautiful pics! And I am glad you had a lovely time on vacation!!!
Thank you Susy!
I had to cancel a lot of streaming services as we just don’t have the extra money these days, so I am waiting till all of Stranger Things is out then I am reupping for a month to binge it, then cancel again. 🙂
Yes! Do it, it’s so good.
Badger in the spotlight LOL.
It’s a good thing you read little – it only means you had fun and enjoyed every minute of your vacation!
Ha ha I saw that, a beam of light shining right on him:-)
Looks like Badger enjoyed the beach! I get having that place you’ve gone to since you were young. Mine is Branson, not at all the same kind of place though as yours, lol. I’m slowly catching up on reviews. Sometimes I can just skip emails of posts that have books I don’t necessarily want to see reviews on, but you always read such good books! I don’t subscribe to Netflix all the time, so I’m waiting till the next episodes come out and going to subscribe for a month to get them all at that time, even though I really do want to rewatch the whole series before I start. Hope you have a good week!
Badger loved the beach! I hope you get the chance to watch Stranger Things, I’m so worried about how it’s going to end, though.
Your vacation spot looks wonderful!
Tea and Alchemy sounds good, and I’ve added a couple of books to my TBR from your SciFi Favourite post.
Wishing you a great reading week
Thanks Shelleyrae, you too!
I am glad you had a great holiday with Badger! Our puppies will probably come with us on holiday too!
Oh that will be fun! And it will keep you very busy:-)
I’m so glad Badger got to go and have a good time too. It looks like a beautiful place. Robin is reviewing Snake-Eater.
He had so much fun:-)
Oh, how awesome that you got to spend time in Morro Bay! Such a beautiful area — it’s been several years since I’ve been there, and I’d love to go back! Wishing you a great week!
Thanks Lisa! It’s really my favorite place to visit, the whole area (San Luis Obispo, Cambria, etc).
I know we can’t see their face, but I think Badger is smiling in that picture 😉 I’ve got the Snake-Eater too, but it will probably be a month or more before I get to it…
He’s definitely smiling!
Looks like a lovely vacation! I don’t blame you for putting aside reading and blogging things. Who wants to be on the computer when you could be at the beach? 😉
I admit I did smile when you’d first said how much you were planning to read on your vacation. Glad you did get some read, but it makes perfect sense there wasn’t enough time to get it all in. Very glad you had a nice enjoyable one.
Your vacation sounds great, and Badger on the Beach – sounds like another adventure.
Lynn 😀
Ahah yes I like the priorities where the dog stuff comes first and then the human stuff later, it’s the same in my house Sounds like a really fun vacation though! All of the books in your upcoming list look great! Morro beach looks so pretty
Hope you had a great Thanksgiving too! My family took the week afterwards to go to Orlando so I’m totally feeling you with the post vacay exhaustion lol.
