Welcome to Buffy’s Corner, where I take a look at what’s coming up this week on the blog! I’m linking up with The Sunday Post over at Kimberly’s blog, The Caffeinated Reviewer.
I’ve just left on my beach vacation as you read this, and I’m beyond excited for a week off work, lol. Of course I’m happy to spend time with my family and dog as well;-) I’m prescheduling posts for part of the week, and I plan to get lots of reading done.
We had our first snowfall of the year and got about 8 inches. Not a lot, but enough to cause some chaos on the roads. I’m hoping it will be melted by the time I get back from my trip! I’ll drop a photo of Badger in the snow at the end of this post.
I hope everyone who celebrates has a lovely Thanksgiving holiday!
Upcoming reads & reviews:
November really got away from me, does anyone else feel like that? I think I spent more time catching up with October releases than I did reading November releases, but oh well. This week I will definitely be reviewing You Watched In Silence (hopefully tomorrow), which fell a bit flat for me. I’ll explain more in my review. I’ll be taking The Everlasting and The Blackfire Blade on vacation with me, and I’m excited to finally read these two buzzy books. After that, I think I’ll dive into Tea & Alchemy.
Other posts this week:
Tuesday I’m sharing my Favorite Science Fiction Books of 2025 So Far, my last list for SciFi Month 2025, sigh. And wow, what’s up with cover reveals lately?? I spotted at least ten I could feature in Future Fiction, but I’m going to choose my top three, so stop by on Wednesday; Friday I will post my last Friday Fives, and I’m so glad I was able to do this each week! And Saturday I’ll be sharing my November book haul.
In case you missed:

Snow! Badger in the snow! Well, 8 inches may not be much, but…not little either. I hope you’re having a nice, relaxing holiday and that the roads will be clean when you come back.
Hope you enjoy the vacation, and get some wonderful reading done!
Enjoy your vacation!! That’s a beautiful pic of Badger in the snow. We’ve just had a few flurries here the past week. Happy Thanksgiving 🙂
We had a little snow too! It’s now melted but still! And I agree, November is going by really fast, it’s crazy.
Have a fantastic break, Happy Thanksgiving and just look at Badger – you’ll never lose him in the snow!
Lynn 😀
Uh snow. We were almost 80 yesterday but will freeze again after Thanksgiving. Badger looks happy. Lulu is not really a fan. Luckily we only get 1-2 days a year. I hope you have a really great vacation. Is Badger going along or who is caring for him?
Enjoy your beach holiday Tammy!
Ooooh, beach vacation! Sounds ideal, especially after snow! Hope you enjoy the time away 🙂
Have a great week! I’m jealous you’re on a beach right now…and I hope you have a wonderful time. The beach is always a good idea imo. 😀
Aw, Badger is adorable as always! No snow here yet. I’ve just been thinking about how much I’ve noticed the colorful leaves this year, I don’t remember noticing so much in the past. My mom says maybe because it is later for us this year. November got away from me with getting my mom moved! Enjoy your beach trip!
Cute pup! Have a fun vacation!
Enjoy your vacation!
8 inches of snow sounds a lot to me! We had 1/2 an inch I think, and that was already too much for me. Lol. well, the following Sunday it was 70. Crazy, but I’ll take that type of craziness any day, lol
I hope you’re having a fabulous time!
Enjoy your vacation!!!
And the pic is sooooo beautiful!! I am curious to know what you will think of The Blackfire Blade!!
Awww Badger is so cute!!! Enjoy your week!!
Have a wonderful holiday, Tammy:). And our idea of a small snowfall is very different – 8 inches here would bring the country to a slithering halt!! We regarding anything more than a couple of inches as major. Badger is clearly have a wonderful time – and looks absolutely magnificent:)).
From snow to beach, you’ve covered it all! 🙂 I hope you have a great vacation and get in plenty of relaxation and book time.
