Back in Business But I’ve Gone Back in Time

So, it’s been a month! I tried to switch my blog to a new hosting site, Nosegraze, who is highly recommended in the book blogging community, but we had some issues with Jetpack that could not be solved (and it seemed to be my blog that was having these issues. Other blogs she works with aren’t, go figure). So unfortunately, I had to go back to my old host.

Jetpack is working again, thankfully, but in this week-and-a-half timeframe I was going through the migration, I lost everything I posted since October 10th. So the blog might seem weird right now. I will be catching up with some of those posts and reviews that were lost, so if you see them in the coming days, just remember they are technically new posts and won’t have your original comments, if you happened to leave one.

This is the second time this year I’ve lost posts, so I’ve decided 2025 is just going to be one of those years…

In any case, I appreciate everyone who is still following me, and I hope to get back on a regular posting schedule soon!

Oh Tammy, you’re not having luck with the blog this year. It’s too bad the issues couldn’t be solved. Are you gonna look for a new host or sticking with the old one?

I’m sticking with Bluehost for now, since everything is working. But if things stop working, I’ll have to reconsider!

  2. Ugh. That majorly sucks (especially losing the posts, even if it sounds like you have copies or know how retrieve those). BTW, I can’t see the image attached to this posts…Anyway, I hope you have better luck with your blog from now on! Are you planning on trying a new migration elsewhere?

  3. Ouch, not fun. I hope the switch back works out better this time around. Just think about years from now and all the stories you’ll have to tell about that crazy 2025!

  4. Ugh, I’m sorry you’re still having issues! I was wondering if I kept missing your posts due to me being in South Korea and the big time difference, but it sounds like you haven’t had posts. I hope you’re able to get things running the way you want them to!

  5. I’m just relieved you’re still here because I’ve been occupied the last couple weeks with real life stuff and haven’t been checking my followed blogs as often, and when I finally got time I was freaking out because all your links from my feeder were not working! Glad you are making some headway into the blog issues, and of course I’ll keep following!

  6. So sorry you’ve had to deal with this, but I”m glad you’re back to being able to post! And it was great to see my email alert come in for your new posts too… those hadn’t been coming through for the last few weeks. Wishing you smooth sailing from here on out!

  7. I hope this has now all resolved itself for you. Can’t get back your old posts but hopefully you can repeat them slowly – I hate it when I lose a post I’ve worked on. It’s so frustrating.
    Lynn 😀
