Summer of Horror 2025 Wrap-Up

And that’s a wrap! Today Summer of Horror 2025 officially comes to an end, and it was so much fun! This year I had quite a bit of participation, so huge thanks and hugs to the bloggers who joined me celebrating all things horror. Let’s do it again next summer!

This is a recap of the horror books I read and other posts that were horror related. I didn’t get to everything on my list, and many of the books I didn’t read are still on my TBR. And of course, for me horror is a year-round event, lol. Next year I hope to add even more fun horror related content, and I already have a few new ideas. I’m also highlighting the non horror books I read in August, since this is also my August Reading Wrap-Up post, so look for those at the end.

  1. It looks like you’ve read some great horror books over the course of the event, well done on crossing off seven prompts on your Bingo board too. It’ll be interesting seeing how many I managed, although I expect you’ve got me beat lol. I’m also already intrigued to discover your new ideas next year. I had one I meant to fit in too so I’ll probably save it for next years event.

It looks like you fit in some other lovely books this month too although it’s a shame the last two weren’t stronger considering your expectations for them.

I hope you have a lovely month and I’m already looking forward to joining in again next year.

  2. It’s been so fun seeing your different horror covers and horror lists this summer. And it looks like you found a lot of really great books to read. Some are now on my own TBR list. 😀

Thanks Lisa! This was my third year doing it but the first year others participated. I’ll definitely do it again!

I’m glad you were part of the event! I do need a break but I think summer will roll around quicker than I expect:-)

  3. You had a great reading month!! I hope September will be at least as good (and even better!!).
Also, the horror covers make for a really eye pleasant graphic, albeit a chilly one!
