This was an odd reading month. On one hand, I read three outstanding books, two of them 5-star reads. On the other hand, I only posted seven reviews, even though I read eight books. I decided not to write a review for D7 by Philip Fracassi, since it was more of a short story and I didn’t like it very much. But I’m listing it here anyway. My top books of June were The Afterlife Project and My Ex, the Antichrist (I loved them both and it’s impossible to choose one over the other). The Medusa Project comes in at a close third. Everything else was a solid four stars, so overall not a bad month. Most of these were over 400 pages so again, I’m blaming my low book count on reading bigger books. Here are the books I read and reviewed this month, linked to my reviews:

Top three most popular reviews of June:
Shield of Sparrows and Filthy Rich Fae hang onto the top three again, and Remarkably Bright Creatures makes an appearance, probably due to the recent announcement that the movie is coming to Netflix.

Looks like you had a pretty great reading month!
My top three alone made it a fantastic month:-)
A great month with good books.
Anne – Books of My Heart
Thanks Anne:-)
wow, that’s a lot of thick books! well done
Thanks Emma:-)
Another good month 😀
I completely missed that Remarkably Bright Creatures is going to be a movie. It’s a book I keep wanting to read but haven’t got around to it yet.
I think you would love it, it’s such a great feel good story:-)
Definitely some good books! I’m still catching up on a few reviews, but think I’m closer to being caught up. At least till school starts and my cruise this month! Here’s hoping July has great books too!

Four star and up for the book length reads is a great month. And those longer reads really can lessen the book count, no doubt.
Only SEVEN reviews?? That’s incredibly lazy of you Tammy! Btw there’s no need to look and see how many I’ve posted in the last three months Glad you had a good month, though!
You had a great month!!! *_*
And I hope your July will be even better!!
My excitement for My Ex, the Antichist is pretty much off the charts. I’m so glad you enjoyed it. Hope you have a great July!
The Grimoire Grammar School Parent Teacher Association sounds like a really enjoyable book. I want to read that one; glad to see you enjoyed it! (Even if it didn’t make your top three this month.)
You had a good month! 🙂
I loved My Ex the Antichrist so much! I think it’ll end up on my list of favorites this year.
A great reading month. I’ve struggled a little recently – possibly because I’ve started a number of books and read at least a third only to have to put them down – which I really don’t like to do.
I’ve nabbed a copy of My Ex the Antichrist and can’t wait to tuck in.
Lynn 😀
