April 2025 Reading Wrap-Up

I didn’t know how many books I’d reviewed this month until I started putting this post together, and I’m pleasantly surprised that I was able to post nine! Overall this was a very good bunch of books, and I’m happy to have found another five star book. Here are the books I reviewed in April, and I’ve linked my reviews if you’d like to read them.

When the Wolf Comes Home by Nat Cassidy

Senseless by Ronald Malfi

Mapping the Interior by Stephen Graham Jones

Eat the Ones Your Love by Sarah Maria Griffin

When We Were Real by Daryl Gregory

The Staircase in the Woods by Chuck Wendig

The Shivers Collection by Multiple Authors

Cold Eternity by S.A. Barnes

Don’t Sleep With the Dead by Nghi Vo

What was your favorite book this month?

It seems I’m having a hard time finding 5 star reads this year, so I’m glad I found one more:-)

  1. You read and reviewed some really amazing books. Looks like it was a fantastic month! I wanna read many of them. My favorite of the month was The Wolf and the Serpent by Rebecca Robinson.

You’re right, it was very horror heavy, although I didn’t plan it that way:-)

  2. Nice to get these positive surprises, both to realize how much we’ve read and to find another 5 star read.

  3. I’ve never read any Stephen Graham Jones book but I keep hearing really great things about Mapping the Interior! Great reading month! 🙂
