Buffy’s Corner 4/6/25 – Looking at the Week Ahead

Welcome to Buffy’s Corner, where I take a look at what’s coming up this week on the blog! I’m linking up with The Sunday Post over at Kimberly’s blog, The Caffeinated Reviewer:-D

I spent yesterday with my kids, which was a lot of fun! Shopping and lunch out, two of my favorite things:-) The weather here has been very cold but is slowly warming up, so this should be a nice week. I’m hoping for some nice reading time on the deck at some point. I wish everyone a good week and good books!

Upcoming reads & reviews:

I’m hoping to have two reviews up this week, but I’m behind with my reading so I’m not sure what the second one will be. I’ve just finished and loved When the Wolf Comes Home, so look for that review tomorrow. Some choices for next books will be Don’t Sleep With the Dead, A Drop of Corruption and Senseless. I’m going to choose based on my mood.

Other posts this week:

I’m joining Top Ten Tuesday this week, and the theme is Spring covers, so stop by and see what I’ve chosen; Wednesday I’m catching up with some of the cover reveals I’ve missed on Future Fiction; and I may do a mid-month book haul on Saturday, we’ll see.

In case you missed:

My posts from last week:

Cold Eternity by S.A. Barnes – Review 3.5/5 stars

When We Were Real by Daryl Gregory – Review 4/5 stars

Future Fiction #325

What’s On My Plate – April 2025

  1. Looking forward to your reviews for Senseless and A Drop of Corruption. I might finally get around to reading the first book in that series at last.
Hope you have a great week 😀

Well Tammy that couhc potato is a BIG boy! I didn’t realize his size in previous pictures!

  3. Love the couch potato! I have one of my own. The temperature will drop for us by 25 degrees to around 60 this week. I’m hoping to get some yard work handled. So nice you had that time with your kids.

Badger looks HUGE in that pic. Love that his is a couch potato. Reminds me we used to call Cass Dr. Couchy. I love that cover of the Hines book more each time I see it.

  5. Love the couch potato! All of your next possible reads sound good but I’m quite curious about Don’t Sleep With The Dead!
