Welcome to Buffy’s Corner, where I take a look at what’s coming up this week on the blog! I’m linking up with The Sunday Post over at Kimberly’s blog, The Caffeinated Reviewer:-D
Spring is springing here, and I’ve taken a couple of photos from my garden (ignore the pine needles and pine cones, we haven’t cleaned them up yet!)
Work is crazy busy still, so I’m living for the weekends these days. Not much else going on, but I do hope everyone finds something good to read this week.
Upcoming reads & reviews:
I spent all week reading When We Were Real, so I still feel a little behind. It was a very weird, quirky story, and my review will be up later this week. I’m currently reading Vanishing Daughters, and my next two after that will probably be Don’t Sleep with the Dead and Cold Storage.
Other posts this week:
It’s a busy week! Tomorrow I’ll post my March Wrap-up; Tuesday is April 1st (!) so I’ll post What’s On My Plate and share my reading plans; I am overwhelmed by all the recent cover reveals, so choosing three for Future Fiction this week seems nearly impossible, lol.
In case you missed:
My posts from last week:
Where the Bones Lie by Nick Kolakowski – Review 4/5 stars
The Buffalo Hunter Hunter by Stephen Graham Jones – Review 4.5/5 stars

Awww, Badger is soooo beautiful!!
Thanks Susy!
What flowers are those? They’re very pretty. (So is Badger, though he looks like a wolf in that pic…but a pretty wolf LOL).
Looking forward to your thoughts on When We Were Real!
We have cherry, pear and plum trees, and to be honest I don’t know which is which, lol. And yes, that photo of Badger is intimidating! He’s a big softy though.
Your dog is so pretty! Hope work slows down for you.
Have a great day and happy reading!

Week in Review
Thanks Stormi! You too:-)
Oooo a blooming tree! Spring has definitely sprung here in northern VA. I took a long walk yesterday and so many magnolia trees in bloom as well as cherry trees and bradford pears (which are stinky).
We used to have magnolia trees in our old neighborhood, I miss them…
I’m starting to get some sprouting plants, my peonies I think, and maybe my lilies, although they don’t usually bloom till summer, the green shoots are starting to come up. Love the picture of Badger, what beautiful eyes! I feel like I’ve read S.A. Barnes in the past, so will be interested to see your review on that one. Have a good week!
Thanks Lisa! I started the S.A. Barnes last night and it’s super creepy:-)
Badger you beauty! I think cleaning up pine needles and cones is a permanent, continuous job with no end. That’s why I am glad we do not have pine trees in our yard. There are many in our neighborhood though. Enjoy the spring!
Anne – Books of My Heart
The pine trees are awful! No matter how often you clean up the needles and cones keep falling, lol. Our next move will be pine tree free, lol.
I live up for the weekends as well! And spring looks lovely Tammy!
Thanks Sophie!
Very glad to see you’re getting views of spring, always love this time of year with all the buds and blooms.
Before we moved up to the mountains, we never had signs of spring. The trees were always green, lol. I do love the anticipation of seeing the changes, though.
Great picture of Badger! And this is week I think we have Cold Eternity in common for our reading list!
Thanks! I just started Cold Eternity last night and it’s already creepy…
