Welcome to Buffy’s Corner, where I take a look at what’s coming up this week on the blog! I’m linking up with The Sunday Post over at Kimberly’s blog, The Caffeinated Reviewer:-D
My daughter just wrapped up her tour with Ben Barnes and had a fabulous time! These photos are taken from the Wiltern in Los Angeles on the last night of the tour. She got to play a set of her own songs as an opening act, and below is a photo of her playing her stand-up bass. The second photo is a shot of the whole band.
I still have lots of Yellowstone photos to share, but instead at the end of this post is a new photo of Badger, just as it was starting to snow. It’s absolutely freezing here, and we have another snow storm on the way this week! I hope everyone is reading something good:-)

Upcoming reads & reviews:
I spent most of this past week reading Once Was Willem, even though it’s pretty short. It’s a slower paced book but so good, and not a story you can really rush through. Look for my review tomorrow. Next up: Chaos and The Buffalo Hunter Hunter, and I’m throwing Rose/House up here too, which is a novella that I hope I can sneak in soon.
Other posts this week:
Top Ten Tuesday is “books with [theme/plot device]” and I’m working on a couple of ideas for this; Wednesday I’ll share some very cool cover reveals on Future Fiction; other than that I’m trying to get a few reviews up this week.
In case you missed:
My posts from last week:
When the Moon Hits Your Eye by John Scalzi – review 4/5 stars
Go Luck Yourself by Sara Raasch – Review 4.5/5 stars

How exciting about your daughter! I want to read The Buffalo Hunter. Badger belongs on the cover of a magazine. Happy reading this week.
I’m sure Badger would love to be on a magazine cover!
I love that your daughter is living the rockstar life!
Gah, more snow?
I enjoyed Rose/House, though the second half is definitely better than the first one, for obvious reasons (it takes place inside the actual house).
Snow dog is lovely!
She’s having so much fun, I hope this tour leads to more opportunities, because the music business is TOUGH. I’m hoping to squeeze in Rose/House by the end of the month!
So glad your daughter had a fun time on tour and very cool she got to play some of her own stuff! It’s finally starting to warm up here, though it was very windy last week. Looks like we’ll hit 70 this week! Have a good reading week! ^_^
Ooh 70s, I can only dream, lol.
Aw, Badger is so cute! That is so exciting to keep hearing all the fun your daughter got to have on that tour! And to do her own set! I think we have rain later this week, but no snow for a change. Although I’m going to miss having snow days now that winter is pretty much settled down here. Looking forward to a bit warmer week. Have a good week!

I hope your weather is good this week!
Badger is so cute!! Congrats to your daughter — sounds like an amazing experience. Looking forward to this week’s reviews!
Thanks Lisa!
Look at Badger – hey, at lease you won’t be able to lose him in the snow with that lovely black coat.
Happy reading.
Looking forward to your Once Was Willem review.
Lynn 😀
Yes, I love that he’s black and stands out in the snow:-)
It’s so wonderful your daughter is living her best life. The photo of Badger is amazing. Sorry you aren’t getting the warm up we are this week.
Anne – Books of My Heart
She chose a difficult life (the music industry is tough to make money at) but I’d rather she’s happy than working a 9 to 5 job she hates.
That’s such a cool experience for your daughter!
It really was, hopefully it will lead to other things:-)
Awww Badger! He is such a beautiful boy!! And congratulations for your daughter tour!!
Thanks Susy!
That’s amazing that your daughter had such a blast Tammy!
Congrats to your daughter, what a cool experience! And glad you got to see her too. I saw the band half alive as an opening act a few years ago at The Greek Theatre in LA and the parents of some of the band members were sitting a few rows in front of us cheering the whole time. Love to see family support.
Badger looks so happy. What a fun experience your daughter had. Bet you are so proud! Great pics. I bet she will miss it.
Grats to your daughter! And we went to Yellowstone last year, and loved it. I can’t wait to see your pics.
