Welcome to Buffy’s Corner, where I take a look at what’s coming up this week on the blog! I’m linking up with The Sunday Post over at Kimberly’s blog, The Caffeinated Reviewer:-D
Ooh it was a lovely warm week! My flowering trees started to bloom, although there’s snow on the way so I’m not sure what will happen to them.
I’ve been following some blogs with Follow It, and suddenly I haven’t been getting my Follow It email notifications. So if I normally comment on your blog and I’ve been absent, that’s why. If anyone knows why that’s happening, let me know, I’m at a loss.
I hope everyone has a good week!
Upcoming reads & reviews:
I’m diving headfirst into my huge March review pile. I’ve finished Go Luck Yourself (loved it!) and I’m almost done with When the Moon Hits Your Eye (really fun). Next up will be Chaos and Once Was Willem. I think my strategy is to read all my shorter books first, get them out of the way, and then make time for the longer ones. Does anyone else do that? lol
Other posts this week:
Tuesday I’m posting my annual book tag, Reading Firsts, where I take a look at…some reading firsts of the year! and Wednesday is Future Fiction, and I have three new books to share.
In case you missed:
My posts from last week:
Murder By Memory by Olivia Waite – Review 4/5 stars
Future’s Edge by Gareth L. Powell – Review 5/5 stars

A warm week must have been a lovely respite…though the snow isn’t finished with you yet. Hang on!
As much as I love Badger, the bison is magnificent!
Thanks Roberta! He took even better photos than that, so I’ll have to share more next week.
Oh that is a cool pic!! Bummer about Follow It, not sure what is up with that, but I wondered why I hadn’t seen you comment on my last post!

Have a great week and happy reading!
Stormi
I did just get a Follow It email today so maybe it’s working again? lol. Thanks Stormi, have a great week!
I’m sort of wavering about picking up Go Luck Yourself — sort of tempting, but I don’t knooow… (I also don’t know quite why I’m wavering!) Good to know you loved it.
The whole concept of the holiday royals is sort of goofy, but surprisingly the stories are really good.
Love that bison and how appropriate considering Buffalo Hunter Hunter is coming this month and is one of my most anticipated reads. Can’t wait for your review of the new Scalzi book. For some reason, I really want to pick that one up.
It’s perfect timing with the bison! The Scalzi book was very different but I ended up really enjoying it. I’m working on my review this week and it will probably be 4 stars.
I use Feedly for all my own blog following but I get Followit emails for my own blog every day and it seems normal. So that’s no help, sorry, but at least you know mine has been normal. I’m looking forward to more normal weather here which is warmer than it has been.
Anne – Books of My Heart This is my Sunday Post
I just started getting the Follow It emails again, so weird!
Yes, I definitely prioritize my shorter books first! It makes me feel better to see quick progress.
Exactly! I feel like I’m accomplishing more. Luckily I have quite a few 300 ish page or less books this month.
I love the picture your husband has taken in Yellowstone!
Thanks Sophie. He took so many good ones, I will be sharing more of them.
I’m very excited to hear your thought on Once Was Willem!
I may start it today!
Moses should have created the cover for Buffalo Hunter Hunter!!!
As for pushing aside longer books to get through some of the shorter ones… yeah, I sometimes do that, too.
Ha ha so true!
I’m happy to see you enjoyed Go Luck Yourself! I have it on my list to read soon.
It was so much fun!
Snow in the mountains will be nice. It’s been a sunny Sunday, but I see the clouds rolling in. We’re supposed to get light rain later today. I am so glad you are finding When the Moon Hits Your Eye fun! I am looking forward to that one. I hope you have a great week, Tammy, and enjoy your reading!
The snow is beautiful! As long as I don’t have to leave the house, lol. I just finished When the Moon Hits Your Eye and it’s quite different than anything I’ve read. Have a great week, Wendy!
Your weekly posts always amazes me! Excellent job with your reading list!
Thank you!
That picture is amazing! Can’t wait to check out your review of Go Luck Yourself. I pre-ordered the audio of the new John Scalzi book, so can’t wait till it publishes so I can listen! It was beautifully warm and springlike here last week, but we might be getting some snow tomorrow night too. Have a good week!
So far we’re only getting rain. My yard needs it if it’s going to look decent by Easter. I’been getting my FollowIt emails, it’s odd that they suddenly stopped for you. Have a wonderful week!
Yes, I do sometimes save the longer books and try to make progress on some of the others first.
Lynn
I love the pic!! And I am soooooo looking forward to the newest Scalzi’s book!!
I welcome the warm weather as well! Planning on diving into Once Was Willem soon.
Yay for warmer weather and beautiful bison pic!
