Welcome to Buffy’s Corner, where I take a look at what’s coming up this week on the blog! I’m linking up with The Sunday Post over at Kimberly’s blog, The Caffeinated Reviewer:-D
It was a less crazy week than last week, which I’m grateful for. My daughter is off on the European portion of the Ben Barnes tour! She is having the best time ever, and I’m so glad she has this opportunity. You can follow the tour on Zoe’s or Ben Barnes’ Instagram accounts if you’re interested. Check their stories for the latest and greatest. The weather here has been cold, windy and rainy, so it’s definitely winter, ha ha. Is anyone else looking forward to Spring?
Upcoming reads & reviews:
February is moving along very quickly, and I have about five more review books to try to fit in, plus I’d like to read at least one March review book this month. I tore threw The Bones Beneath My Skin this week, it was sooo good! And I’m currently reading Emily Wilde and the Compendium of Lost Tales and loving it too. Next I have two horror releases I’m anxious to get to, Victorian Psycho and Listen to Your Sister.
Other posts this week:
Top Ten Tuesday is Love Freebie, so I’ll probably put together a list for that; Wednesday I have three exciting cover reveals to share on Future Fiction; and that’s it for memes, as I hope to focus on reviews this week.
In case you missed:
My posts from last week:
Tartufo by Kira Jane Buxton – Review 4/5 stars
Ten Upcoming Books That Don’t Have Covers Yet #4
But Not Too Bold by Hache Pueyo – Review 3/5 stars

The pic is so beautiful!! And I am glad your daughter is having fun, the tour sounds sooo exciting!!
Thanks Susy!
Glad to hear you’re enjoying the latest in the Emily Wilde series. I’ll look out for your review.
From Emily Wilde to horror, I love the contrast and Victorian Psycho sounds like it should be good so I hope you enjoy it 😀
I definitely have a lot of different genres going on!
Spring yes please
Fingers crossed!
The picture of the great grey owl is stunning! 😀
I agree, and I love the way the background just kind of fades away.
Pretty owl! Glad your daughter is having a wonderful time on tour!
Thanks Celeste!
Exciting for your daughter’s tour! I’m starting the Emily Wilde one today. I have the cools season veggies planted. It’s 65 here today but the week is going to be cold with lows around freezing. So I’m watching my new plantings closely. At least we are supposed to get some rain.
Hopefully it won’t get too cold for your new plantings:-)
Following the Instagram accounts so I can see pics! That’s so exciting for your daughter! The owl picture is gorgeous too! I’m looking forward to checking out some of the reviews you’ve posted. On the one hand I’m tired of the cold, but I don’t enjoy the extreme summer heat, so I’ll stick with this for a bit longer, lol. Hope you have a good week!

Thanks Lisa! I think I like the cold better than the heat too:-)
I’m really looking forward to Victorian Psycho, it sounds fantastic!
I hope we both get to read it:-)
Very glad to hear this past week was a bit less crazy. And that’s very cool to hear about your daughter and the tour. Such an incredible experience. And look at that owl. I don’t believe I’ve ever seen a great grey. They have such piercing stares.
My husband is obsessed with owls and he’s had some good opportunities to find and photograph them.
Love the Owl pic!! I am ready for spring like weather as in it’s warmer but for where I live it also means lots of storms and tornados so that I am not looking forward too. I just want to be warm!
Have a great week and happy reading!

What a beautiful owl picture. The tour sounds fun. I am so ready for Spring!
I’m glad your daughter’s tour is going well. I adored The Bones Beneath My Skin, and Emily Wilde is a feel good read as well.
Wishing you a lovely reading week
From what I have seen on his IG account Ben Barnes seems to be genuinely a good guy!
What a pretty owl. I hope you love Victorian Psycho as much as I did!
Wow, that tour of your daughter’s sounds amazing. I hope she’s loving it.
Happy reading.
Lynn 😀
