I’m linking up with Top Ten Tuesday, which was created by The Broke and the Bookish and is now hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl. Check out upcoming Top Ten themes on Jana’s blog

Today is a Halloween Freebie on Top Ten Tuesday, and I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to showcase my favorite horror books of the year so far. 1. I have my eye on Ghost Station. I’m not sure I want to continue with the Indian Lake trilogy – Don’t Fear the Reaper was a bit much for me! How are the gore levels in I Was a Teenage Slasher?

  2. So many of these sound amazing! I’ve been wanting to read Diavola (I loved her last book), and it’s on my list this week too! We Love the Nightlife looks awesome, and I’m hoping to find it at my library in the next few weeks.

  3. The Redemption Of Morgan Bright is soooo good!!!
And even if it’s not really my thing, I have I was a Teenage Slasher on my TBR (thanks to you!) and I hope to read it, sooner or later!!

  4. So many great horror books. I’ve read We Love the Nightlife and Ghost Station and really liked them both. I just finished Incidents Around the House and it was okay and I think I’ve shared my thoughts on We Used to Live Here. Although I have to admit the more time that passes since I’ve read it, I don’t dislike it as much.

  5. We Used To Live Here is one that caught my eye a while ago but I still haven’t got around to reading it yet. It sounds so mysterious.
I really like the cover of American Rapture too 😀

  6. I’ll definitely have to check out A Haunting In The Artic sometime having loved The Lighthouse Witches. I’m intrigued by We Used To Live Here too, particularly as I’m sure I saw an adaptation mentioned. It’s wonderful that you’ve found so many horror hits this year.
