The Friday Face-Off was created by Books by Proxy, where each week bloggers can showcase books with covers centered around a weekly theme. You can visit Lynn’s Books for a list of upcoming themes. Join in the fun each Friday by finding a book whose cover is based on the theme!
It’s been MONTHS since I last participated in The Friday Face-Off, and I’m very happy to finally be posting again! Today I’m sharing a bunch of covers of Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt which I recently finished (and LOVED!), and I can’t believe how many covers I found. I guess this book is very popular! Take a look (and this isn’t all of them, lol):
U.S. Ecco edition | UK Bloomsbury edition
Swedish edition | German edition
Greek edition | Bloomsbury paperback
Italian edition | Portuguese edition
Hungarian edition | Bulgarian edition
Danish edition | Hebrew edition
I love so many of these covers. There are a few that give you hints about the story, like the Danish cover with the key, but all of them work in one way or another. I guess the covers that grab me the most are the German, Greek, Italian and Hungarian editions. This book deserves a lot of attention (look for my review next week!) and I’m glad publishers have given it so many wonderful covers.
The Hungarian, Hebrew, and German covers are my favs. I like how the colors are used there.
I agree, I like the softer color palettes.
Oh wow, yea, there are a lot of different covers! I’d say the US, German, and Hungarian covers are my favorite…not sure what’s going on with the UK one, lol.

Ha ha the UK cover actually makes sense when you read the story, the horse belongs to one of the characters.
So many of these are really beautiful! My favorites are the German, Greek, Italian, Bulgarian and Danish editions! 😀

They are pretty, it’s hard to choose!
So funny that all but one have an octopus on the cover, and that one instead has a model or toy horse. 🙂
The horse is a Swedish horse from one of the character’s childhoods, so it actually makes sense when you read it.
I cannot judge with the story, but I like the German and Hebrew editions

They all fit the story very well:-)
All of these are great but I think the Greek is my favorite. Thanks for sharing!
I love that one too:-)
I love the Swedish edition!
Me too!
Such a lot of great covers. I really like the Hungarian, but I pretty much like most the covers with an Octopus.

They are all quite lovely:-)
Love these! (Well- most of them!) I LOVE the Greek one too, I think it is my favorite- though the Bloomsbury paperback is a close second! Honestly, very impressed that the publishers from everywhere did this one justice!

I agree, the author must be thrilled that she got so lucky with her covers:-)
Wow, these contrasts so much! I love the Greek and Portuguese ones, and for completely different reasons haha!
