I’m linking up with Top Ten Tuesday. Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish and is now hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl. Check out upcoming Top Ten themes on Jana’s blog!
Today on Top Ten Tuesday, we’re focusing on books with “weather elements,” either on the cover or in the story. My list is a mix of both. Some books revolve around storms, and others simply have covers with stormy skies. I thought these all fit the theme!
Ooo what a good selection of books!

All of these covers are really amazing! The one of The Ferryman is especially gorgeous! 😀

I love looking at stormy skies (as long as I’m safely indoors). They’re so beautiful.

Black Mouth was so good! Also, I love Andrew Mayne’s Underwater Investigation Unit series. I need to get to his other books soon.
Here is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thank you!
Of these, my favorite cover is for The Gathering. Love those bleak snowstorm scenes. As for my favorite read, that’s easy, Black Mouth. Granted, it’s the only one of them I’ve read yet, but I did thoroughly enjoy it. 🙂
I love your choices for this, especially St. James’s. These covers make me want a fire and hot cocoa.
The Light Pirate sounds interesting!
These are all perfect for the theme! That cover for The Hollow really grabs me–maybe it’s because of the stark bright whiteness of the cover.
I went for elements in the title but I love that you chose to go for the picture! The book of Cold Caes was amazing!
Always the First and Daisy Darker- yes! I love covers with storms on them. Andrew Mayne I think I discovered either here or at Mogsy’s.

I’ve been told that I need to read The Light Pirate. One of these days I’ll get there!
So many atmospheric covers here. I love seeing Daisy Darker on your list, such a great book 😀
Great choice of covers and titles to fit the theme. I love the cover of The Daughters of Block Island.

Love all these covers! Amazing how just a few clouds can transform an image to look so much more dramatic
They all look so great together, so moody. And I love that cover for The Gathering.
Lynn 😀
Stormy skies are so moody (I just realized the person above me had the same thought lol), these are great!
