We all know how popular Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros is right now, and I wasn’t surprised to see a bunch of different editions on Goodreads. EXCEPT they all have the same cover, lol, except one. So today it’s a face-off between the Americans and the Russians:-)
Red Tower Books edition, 2023. I loved this cover from the moment I saw it. It’s simple yet dramatic, and I think it does a great job of representing the story.
Russian edition, 2023. I LOVE this cover even more! I love the up close image of Tairn and Violet, although I’m laughing a little at the “18+” warning at the top.
Read and loved! Maybe not a literary masterpiece but non the less great reading. I absolutely love that Russian edition!
I loved her writing, and the pacing was outstanding:-)
My audiobook hold just came in so I’m going to have to start this asap!
Oooh enjoy!
Oh – the Russian edition wins hands down. While I like the first cover – that dragon is awesome:))).
I love the dragon too:-)
Powerful!

It is:-)
I still need to read this and just recently bought it after it was reprinted. I do love that Russian edition though!
I’ll be so curious to hear what you think!
I prefer the Red Tower edition!
Sometimes it’s hard to beat the original:-)
Whoa, the Russian edition is incredible! This is one of those books that I loved so much, I worry if I ever start collecting different editions, the addiction will never end!

Ha ha I agree. I imagine other covers are going to come out soon and I’m sure I’ll buy at least one more edition of this book:-)
I totally agree with you! I love the “original” cover, but the Russian one is something for sure!!
It’s very dramatic!
I like both covers for different reasons! I found a shop that has pre-orders up for a redesigned cover that I really liked and I ordered it so fast (lol). I’m a little surprised there weren’t more cover variations for this book!

I hope you share that edition when you get it!
I’m giving it to the Russians. That one is just more my style. I love covers with wonderful character art! But the American one is nice too.

The art is really nice on that Russian cover, right?
Although I generally prefer character art covers, I like the other one better. As you said it has a good contrast, and you don’t see a gold book very often.

I do love both covers. I’m curious to see what other covers will pop up in the next months or so.
Like you I think both are good but the Russian cover defo steals the show.
Lynn 😀
I have to admit, I also love the cover with the dragon on it, for sure.
