July was an excellent month, and not surprisingly, very horror heavy! There were a few July releases (The Sun and the Void and A Twisted Love Story) that I wasn’t able to fit in, but hopefully I can get to them soon. Otherwise I’m pretty pleased with the month. Here are the books I read and reviewed in July (click on the titles to read my reviews):
Looks like you’ve had a a good month of reading.
Claws & Contrivances looks like good fun, I’d have to read the first one first though.

It’s a fun series, I always enjoy her books.
My favorite book of July was probably the Traitor. My favorite one of yours was… ummm I didn’t read of yours, Tammy! What the heck? We should’ve coordinated better
Ha ha what’s wrong with us??
I blame this year. It’s sucked:/
It’s scary to think that 2024 is just around the corner. Hopefully it will be better!
I have a couple on reserve at the library but I am not a horror reader.

I like to mix up genres, but there is a ton of horror coming out this summer…
July started out strong and ended up kind of meh. You did have a lot of horror reads!
It’s been a horror heavy summer. August is pretty horror heavy too!
Well done!
July was terrific for me too. Actually one of my favorite book was a classic that does have details pretty horrific, with an awesome plot: The Invisible Host:

Thanks Emma!
I have very high hopes for The Deep Sky now. M favorite of the month was Fourth Wing. I already wanna reread it, tbh.
I guess we have time to reread Fourth Wing before the sequel comes out in November:-)
I bought Claws and Contrivances because of you and Maddalena Tammy!
I hope you love it!
A great month of reading. Claws and Contrivances was so good. I need to get my review up soon.
Lynn 😀
Looking forward to your review!
Legit think we have the same ratings for all the stuff we have both rated- great minds, eh? I also REALLY need to read Dead of Winter- I think that will be up next when I get a break in review books, it sounds so good!

Great minds for sure!!
I certainly love some horror in the summer, I think my July and August has been heavier on horror this year than previous years too.
It’s been a crazy summer for horror!
I need to get hold of Claws and Contrivances as I really enjoy this series. Glad you’ve had such a good July readingwise:)).
Some good books on your list! Unfortunately my July reading was way down thanks to my wonderful trip to Scotland! Back on track for August so far I think.
