I’m linking up with Top Ten Tuesday. Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish and is now hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl. Check out upcoming Top Ten themes on Jana’s blog!
Today the theme is One Word Titles, and I was surprised at how many recent reads fit this category. Here are the last 21 books I’ve read with one word titles (I know, way more than ten, lol):
I yethave to do that one but you mailed it!
Thanks Sophie:-)
That is a lot of titles. I wouldn’t expect there are that many, especially recent ones. You also reminded me I need to read Rovers!
Oooh definitely read Rovers, I loved it:-)
Mothtown sounds like a very eerie read for sure! I’m intrigued by it.
Here is my Top Ten Tuesday post.
It was very good:-)
Twice I’ve seen that King title I’d never heard of before today. Love Blake Crouch.
Later was really good:-)
Great choices! I’ve read a few of these — Lute, Later, Getaway, Upgrade. I stuck to 10, but it was hard to narrow down the choices. 🙂
I just went crazy and picked a bunch, lol.
I love titles that consist of just one word. Easy to remember usually and catchy. I haven’t read any of these… yet.

They are easy to remember:-)
I really loved Later. I wish the cover did it justice though…
I loved it too. Who knows, it could get another reprint with a new cover!
What a cool list of one-word titles! I’m off to check several of these out on Goodreads now because they look like very good reads. 😀

I hope you find something good to read:-)
Noor was so good.
Here is our Top Ten Tuesday.
It was!!
I loved Tidepool. And Eversion and the Gear series I still need to get!

Both Eversion and Gear’s series are so much fun:-)
I don’t think I read many books with one word…lol.

Yeah, it was sort of surprising that I’ve read so many, lol.
Oooh! I love these covers and titles! They are so interesting! Great list!

Thanks:-)
Wow, 21 is a lot! Of the 100 I’ve read this year, only 5 had one-word titles. I guess I prefer long ones. Who knew??
Happy TTT (on a Wednesday)!

I was surprised I had read so many!
Great choices, I’m surprised there are so many.
The only one I’ve read is Later, which I really enjoyed. I’d like to check out the Andrew Mayne one as well as I read another by him and enjoyed that too 😀

I haven’t read Andrew Mayne in a while, I need to catch up with his recent books:-)
Just Upgrade, which I really liked

Blake Crouch never fails me:-)
I love how unique all of these are. Upgrade is the only one I’ve read so far, but I have that Zoje Stage one on my TBR.
Zoje Stage is really good, and I think Getaway is one of my favorites:-) Ooh a one word title I missed!
Oh yes there are quite a few! I have read the Gear, of course…and if I’m not mistaken, I think the series is all one word titles!
Yes, I think it is:-)
I like this theme – I could have rounded up ten books for this I think – a couple off your list such as Later and Sundial. I need to be more organised.
Lynn 😀
I was shocked how many I’ve read:-)
