Welcome to Buffy’s Corner, where I take a look at what’s coming up this week on the blog! I’m linking up with The Sunday Post over at Kimberly’s blog, The Caffeinated Reviewer:-D
I hope everyone had a good week! I’m enjoying our glorious spring weather, and my hubby took a beautiful photo this week of the blooming Yuccas in our area (at the end of this post). Otherwise, it’s business as usual.
Upcoming reads & reviews:
I’m trying to read too many things at once, and of course it’s backfiring on me, lol. I finished Night’s Edge, so look for a review tomorrow. I’m about halfway through Fractal Noise, and I’m really enjoying it! I started The First Bright Thing but I’m struggling with the writing style and have set it off to the side for now (although I will finish it). Probably after Fractal Noise, I’ll dive into Gods of the Wyrdwood, which I’m very excited about.
Other posts this week:
It’s going to be a lighter week on the blog this week, so other than Future Fiction on Wednesday and possibly a second review, I don’t have anything planned.
In case you missed:
My posts from last week:
Cover Reveal: Salt & Broom by Sharon Lynn Fisher
The Seven Year Slip by Ashley Poston – Review 4.5/5 stars
Maeve Fly by C.J. Leede – Review 4.5/5 stars
I finished Gods of the Wyrdwood yesterday: you can expect the usual magnificent world-building that is a Barker trademark, and a very interesting journey that will close with some breath-stopping final hundred pages. Happy reading! 🙂

Ooh now I’m super excited to start it!
Some people in our neighborhood have yucca plants at the base of their mailbox posts. They can get SO big and it’s nice when they trim them and I can use the sidewalk more easily, lol. But the flowers are so cool. The whole plant is kind of what I lovingly categorize as a “dinosaur plant.” 😛
Ha ha I can see how covering the sidewalk would be annoying, lol.
Hope you have an awesome week!
Happy reading!

Oh wow! These yuccas are so beautiful!
Aren’t they cool? It’s one of favorite “hubby” photos.
That photo is lovely! I can’t wait for your review for Night’s Edge. I’m looking forward to reading that one.

It’s been a crazy year for Yuccas, they don’t normally get so big:-) Hope you have a great week too!
Beautiful photo! wishing you a great week!
Thanks Lisa, you too!
The Yuccas picture is gorgeous! I need time to go check out all your reviews still. I hoped to this weekend, but then I got a house guest who is not conducive to me being on my laptop, lol. I’m at the library checking blog posts and commenting right now. Hope you have a good week!

I just finished Fractal Noise and I enjoyed it:-)
I love the photo! I am always trying to read a bunch of things anymore. It used to just be one ebook and one audiobook. But now I often have a third book in some format I am buddy reading. It’s ok if things are mostly different genres.

I like the idea of a “buddy read” book. Maybe one of these days I’ll do that:-)
I used to have a Yuccas plant in my front yard. I dug it up because I didn’t like how it look in my garden.
Have a great week.

Oh no, well they can get quite big, and I can see why you might not want one in your garden:-)
