Welcome to Buffy’s Corner, where I take a look at what’s coming up this week on the blog! I’m linking up with The Sunday Post over at Kimberly’s blog, The Caffeinated Reviewer:-D
My hubby’s been on a photo trip in Costa Rica, and he’s just returned with plenty of new photos. I’m sharing one below! Otherwise, my week has been mostly work and more work, lol. Hey, don’t we have a three day weekend coming up? 🙂
Upcoming reads & reviews:
Once again the end of the month snuck up on me, and I find myself behind with my reading. Granted, I’ve read some longer books this month, so I’ll have to give myself a break. This week, look for reviews of The Endless Vessel and I Am AI, and hopefully I can squeeze in More Perfect and Deadly Memory this week, although my reviews might spill over into June.
Other posts this week:
I may try to squeeze in another fun Wyrd & Wonder post on Tuesday, but as of right now I’m not sure; there have been so many cover reveals lately, so my Future Fiction this week is packed with exciting choices! And I’ve had a surprisingly excellent week with book mail, so I’ll definitely do another book haul post on Saturday.
In case you missed:
My posts from last week:
All the Dead Lie Down by Kyrie McCauley – Review 4/5 stars
18 Upcoming Adult Fantasies to Get Excited About
Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros – Review 4.5/5 stars
That bird is really interesting! The month has gotten away from me as well! UGH!
Have a great week and happy reading!

Thanks Stormi, you too!
That picture is gorgeous! Also yes I want (another) three days weekend! I hope next week will be more relaxed Tammy!
Thanks Sophie! So far so good:-)
That bird picture is incredible! And yes! Totally see a dinosaur or flying reptile with that! Do you ever get to go on the trips with your husband? I think the first book in that David Walton series is on my TBR from when you read it? Now I’ll have to add this one too. I need to get to those! Hope you have a good week!

I usually don’t go with him. I’m more of a homebody and I don’t really like to travel. Plus I want to be with my old man senior dog as much as possible:-)
Dinosaur, indeed! Wow, never seen a bird quite like that one. As for books, I love the title, “I Am AI.” Can’t remember what they call those, where they read the same forwards and backwards.
I can’t remember either, lol. But I know what you’re talking about.
Beautiful photo! Wishing you a great week ahead!
Thanks Lisa, you too!
I cannot wait for a 3 day weekend! Wow, that bird looks amazing and very much like a dinosaur.
Me too, hoping the weather is nice and I can read outside:-)
I don’t really get a holiday even when there is one, a holdover from working for myself. I’m always busy and working on projects. I totally am with you 100% on the loooong books this month. I’m sleeping a bit less to try to keep up. I hope you have a great Memorial Day to relax and also read some good books this week.

Thanks Anne! I hope your week is also productive.
That does look like a dinosaur! And deadly Memory looks good to me.

Deadly Memory is a lot of fun!
That bird definitely looks like a dinosaur. What a great photo 😀
Thanks! It’s crazy how “dinosaurish” it looks:-)
What a great picture and I hope your husband had a wonderful trip!
Thanks Barb!
Yes… I often think that gulls when seen up close remind me of dinosaurs – it’s the expression in their eyes… But this one on the wing definitely has pterodactyl vibes!! And I hope work isn’t too intense so that you get a chance to tuck into those stormingly good books you’ve got stacked up. Have a good week, Tammy.
Luckily work has been slow this week, so I’ve got more reading time for sure:-)
Ooh, Deadly Memory is out! I’ll have to ask David about the audiobook!
