The Friday Face-Off was created by Books by Proxy, where each week bloggers can showcase books with covers centered around a weekly theme. You can visit Lynn’s Books for a list of upcoming themes. Join in the fun each Friday by finding a book whose cover is based on the theme!
It’s been a few weeks since my last Friday Face-Off post, but I found a book with a lot of covers that I wanted to share. I read Hidden Pictures last year, and I guess it’s pretty popular because it’s been published in so many countries. There’s quite an interesting selections of covers, take a look:
Flatiron Books (U.S.) edition 2022 | Sphere Books edition 2022
Italian edition 2022 | Portuguese edition 2022
Ukrainian edition 2022 | Croatian edition 2023
Bragelonne edition 2022 | Thorndike Press edition 2022
I like all of them, they all are quite creepy, but my favorite are the first two covers!
The story is pretty creepy so they work:-)
Ooh, I think the Flatiron and the Italian capture it the best!
I agree:-)
Ukrainian version is pretty cool.
I really like that one too.
I have to admit that Italian edition is downright terrifying! I am partial to the Ukranian and the Flatiron ones.
I know, that Italian cover is scary!
Mine is Flatiron too!
That cover goes well with the story:-)
I think the Croatian one is my favorite! It’s very different from all the others.
I really like that one too:-)
The diversity is quite intriguing.
I’m super busy for a couple of weeks, but looking forward to participating again soon

I’ll look forward to the next time you participate:-)
Some of those covers are fascinating, especially those that look like children’s drawings.
I really like those too. And the children’s artwork relates to the story.
