Welcome to Buffy’s Corner, where I take a look at what’s coming up this week on the blog! I’m linking up with The Sunday Post over at Kimberly’s blog, The Caffeinated Reviewer:-D
Not much news to report here. Work is busy, the weather is still freezing cold, but on the plus side I have so many birds visiting our bird feeders, it makes me so happy:-) At the end of this post is a photo my hubby took in a tree in our yard during the last snow storm. I hope everyone has a great week!
Upcoming reads & reviews:
This is my last chance to cram in some March reviews, since April first is next Saturday, can you believe it?? Look for reviews of Hel’s Eight and A House With Good Bones for sure this week, and I’m hoping to squeeze in one more later in the week. Maybe The Strange or Lone Women, or maybe something else, who knows:-)
Other posts this week:
My focus is getting reviews posted, and other than that, look for my usual Future Fiction on Wednesday, Friday will be my March Wrap-up post, and I’ll be sharing my April reading plans on Saturday, so stop by to see What’s On My Plate!
In case you missed:
My posts from last week:

Infinity Gate by M.R. Carey – Review 5/5 stars
Dark-eyed Juncos are one of those marvelous species that have different colorations in different regions. I’ve never seen one of these with the brown back, absolutely gorgeous. In the east we only see the variety where all the color is the same shade of grey as the head. Still beautiful, but I love the extra color you see out there. May work slow enough for us to breath. 🙂
I didn’t realize that, how cool. And yes, I hope we both get a break from work this week:-)
I just love bird pics with snow around them, it just makes them so pretty! I can’t believe it’s almost April already!
Enjoy your reads!

I feel like we should turn this bird pic into a Christmas card next year:-)
I get the “work is busy” part Tammy! Also the “writing reveiws” part as it was me last weekend!!! That picture is so pretty! I hope you’ll have a less busy week. Hugs.
Thanks Sophie. I think we all deserve a break:-)
Beautiful bird picture as always! I’m off on spring break this week, so I’m looking forward to being able to go comment on all the blogs I can’t get to when I’m on the school’s wifi. I’ve got a ton of your reviews to go read. Hope you have a good last week of March!

Thanks Lisa, enjoy your week off!
I seen Lone Women making the rounds on other blogs. It look like a good western.
Have a great week.

It’s so good! I hope you have a good week too:-)
We’re having a lot of birds at our feeders too. And enterprising squirrels trying to get the food!

Oh yes, we have some squirrels who won’t leave the bird feeders alone, even though we have special “squirrel” feeders just for them, lol.
I started Hel’s Eight, finally! And looking forward to finding out how scary Ursula Vernon’s new one is – I so want to read all her stuff, but I’m an utter wuss!

You should definitely try a House with Good Bones. It’s so funny that the horror parts don’t seem so bad:-)
Well the freezing doesn’t sound so bad because I like sweaters and cozy blankets. I do enjoy the more moderate temps here because I can have a garden at least 3 seasons. The middle of the month seemed to drag a bit and now March is almost over.
I do love snuggling up in blankets too, but I miss walking around bare foot. I hate wearing shoes and socks so it’s hard for me, lol.
It’ll be a while before I get to read both “The House with the Good Bones” and “Lone Woman.”
They are both excellent. You will probably love them when you get around to reading them.
The picture is so beautiful!! Here the weather is good, even if it’s the perfect one to catch a cold, because it is cold in the morning but almost hot during the day, but at least the trees are blooming!
I’m looking forward to our trees blooming too, some day…
What a lovely photo 😀 I’m looking forward to your review of the T. Kingfisher as I want to read more of her books. Lone Women looks tempting too so I’ll look out for your thoughts on that one.

I’m surprised by how much I’m loving Lone Women. So good!
I recently finished A House With Good Bones and it was so good! Definitely had a The Twisted Ones feel to it 🙂
I was thinking it reminded me of The Twisted Ones too:-)
As ever, a delightful and beautifully shot picture, Tammy. Though… I’m a tad appalled that you are still having so much snow??? When does it properly thaw out where you are? Have a great week:).
I wish I knew! This is our first winter here and it’s much worse than I expected… lol. We have more snow coming later this week!
That’s an amazing bird photo!! Now that we have our own yard after buying a house almost 2 years ago now (wait, what?!), I’ve really enjoyed watching all the birds that fly around.
