I’ve decided to combine my usual monthly wrap-up and my Wyrd & Wonder wrap-up in one post, so apologies if this is a bit long. Plus, at the end of the post is an international giveaway to celebrate the end of Wyrd & Wonder, open to everyone who can receive books from The Book Depository, so read to the end if you’d like to enter!
In addition to other genres, I managed to knock out three fantasy books this month: Book of Night, The Hourglass Throne and The Girl Who Outgrew the World. I also posted a few fantasy related lists:
Twelve Upcoming YA Fantasies to Get Excited About
Ten Upcoming Adult Fantasies to Get Excited About
Fantasy A-Z – Upcoming Fantasy
I didn’t participate in Wyrd & Wonder as much as I wanted, but I had fun anyway. Big thanks again to all the hosts, Imyril, Lisa, Jorie, Ariana and Annemieke. I followed all the blog and Instagram posts and I can tell you they worked very hard this month!
May was a bit too much to handle for me, and I needed some time to just breathe, even if I am quite sad to have missed all the fun with Wyrd and Wonder, but now I am back and I can catch up with all I missed. And it seems like I have a lot to catch up to, I need to read your reviews ASAP! And it seems like it was a pretty good month for you, yay!!
It was a good month! I hope June is an easier month for you Susy:-)
You might not have gotten in quite as much as you’d hoped for but you still managed to introduce me to some titles that hadn’t been on my radar, so from my perspective it was a great month! 🙂 And thanks for hosting these fun giveaways.
I’m glad to hear that, Todd. Thanks for entering!
I feel like I say this every year but I wanna participate in Wyrd & Wonder sometime. Maybe next time! 😛

It feels like it’s over so quickly, lol. The months go by too fast!
I didn’t get to jump into W&W like I wanted to but the posts I did see were fabulous. And I’m glad you had so many good reads!

It was a pretty good month, but it went by so fast I didn’t have time to do everything I wanted:-)
wow, lots of highly rated books here, good for you!
Thanks so much for the generous giveaway. I don’t read a lot of fantasy, but I’m slowly working with some “classics”, so if I win, I’ll probably choose one book by Neil Gaiman.

Thanks for entering, good luck Emma!
So many amazing -looking books! It makes me sad to see the Holly Black book as the lowest rated though… I’m hoping to read it this month, if I get time.
I hope you like it more than I did, I know there are lots of positive reviews out there:-)
Great job!
Thanks Stormi!
I really need to catch up with Ford and start in on Edwards one of these days.
I’m so glad I decided to join Wyrd & Wonder this month.
Thanks for the opportunity with the giveaway!
It was fun:-) Next up: Sci Fi Month!
I didn’t get to participate in W&W as much as I wanted to either, so am just now catching up on posts. Ahh, well.
Hey, we do the best we can, there’s always more events coming up:-)
And with that, Wyrd & Wonder is over, I can’t believe how quickly May flew by! I didn’t get to do as much as I wanted either, but I did more than I expected, lol!
It really did fly by! All the months are flying by, lol.
Damn I am afraid as I want to read Book of the NIght!
You may like it more than me, hopefully:-)
Where did Wyrd and Wonder just disappear to. Can’t believe May has gone already.
What the heck – slow down world.
Lynn 😀
May was crazy for me with the end of school. And June is starting out the same with the bathroom renovation I’m almost done with. Hope June is going well for you!
