Looking Back – May Wrap-Up – Wyrd & Wonder Giveaway!

I’ve decided to combine my usual monthly wrap-up and my Wyrd & Wonder wrap-up in one post, so apologies if this is a bit long. Plus, at the end of the post is an international giveaway to celebrate the end of Wyrd & Wonder, open to everyone who can receive books from The Book Depository, so read to the end if you’d like to enter!

In addition to other genres, I managed to knock out three fantasy books this month: Book of Night, The Hourglass Throne and The Girl Who Outgrew the World. I also posted a few fantasy related lists:

Twelve Upcoming YA Fantasies to Get Excited About

Ten Upcoming Adult Fantasies to Get Excited About

Fantasy A-Z – Upcoming Fantasy

I didn’t participate in Wyrd & Wonder as much as I wanted, but I had fun anyway. Big thanks again to all the hosts, Imyril, Lisa, Jorie, Ariana and AnnemiekeI followed all the blog and Instagram posts and I can tell you they worked very hard this month!

  1. May was a bit too much to handle for me, and I needed some time to just breathe, even if I am quite sad to have missed all the fun with Wyrd and Wonder, but now I am back and I can catch up with all I missed. And it seems like I have a lot to catch up to, I need to read your reviews ASAP! And it seems like it was a pretty good month for you, yay!!

  2. You might not have gotten in quite as much as you’d hoped for but you still managed to introduce me to some titles that hadn’t been on my radar, so from my perspective it was a great month! 🙂 And thanks for hosting these fun giveaways.

  3. I didn’t get to jump into W&W like I wanted to but the posts I did see were fabulous. And I’m glad you had so many good reads!

It was a pretty good month, but it went by so fast I didn’t have time to do everything I wanted:-)

  4. wow, lots of highly rated books here, good for you!
Thanks so much for the generous giveaway. I don’t read a lot of fantasy, but I’m slowly working with some “classics”, so if I win, I’ll probably choose one book by Neil Gaiman.

  5. I really need to catch up with Ford and start in on Edwards one of these days.

I’m so glad I decided to join Wyrd & Wonder this month.

Thanks for the opportunity with the giveaway!

  6. I didn’t get to participate in W&W as much as I wanted to either, so am just now catching up on posts. Ahh, well.
