Welcome to Buffy’s Corner, where I take a look at what’s coming up this week on the blog! I’m linking up with The Sunday Post over at Kimberly’s blog, The Caffeinated Reviewer:-D
Has anyone binged Bridgerton Season 2 yet? I’ve been busy all weekend so I haven’t started it yet, but I’m excited to dive in. Hopefully I can watch a couple of episodes today. My hubby took a trip to the Sequoias last week and got some great photos. One of them is at the end of this post:-)
Upcoming reads & reviews:
It’s been a slow reading week, but I’m almost finished with The Book of Cold Cases, so I’ll definitely get a review of it up this week. The City of Dusk is going slowly but it’s going to be my focus to finish reading this week, so you’ll most likely see a review next week. After that I’m diving in my April books, starting with Sea of Tranquility.
Other posts this week:
Wednesday is Future Fiction, Thursday I’ll post my March Wrap-Up, The Friday Face-Off is “two book comparison”. It’s also the 1st of April, can you believe it? So I’ll probably double up and post my What’s On My Plate for April as well. And finally, I have a nice book haul to share on Saturday!
In case you missed:
Did you miss any of my posts last week?
Comeuppance Served Cold by Marion Deeds – Review 4/5 stars
The Friday Face-Off: One Word Title
Cover Reveal: Ledge by Stacey McEwan
The Shadow Glass by Josh Winning – Review 5/5 stars
I had my eyes on City of Dusk, but I could not manage to add it to my reading queue, and now that I’ve seen your comment about your slow progress through it I’m a little… concerned. I will look forward to your review to learn more!
And what a magnificent turkey! 🙂

Thanks Maddalena!
The pic is awesome!! And I am currently reading The City of Dusk too! I haven’t read a lot of it, but so far I can say that I am with you about the slow going!
We’ll have to compare notes about it later:-)
That displaying turkey really is an incredible bird. So many details and so much more color than we might expect. I love the face on perspective. I look forward to reading your thoughts on The Book of Cold Cases.
I agree, wild turkeys are so pretty!
My daughter binged Bridgerton and watched the final episode twice for some reason. I wonder why.
Your husband captured the most beautiful turkey!

Now I’m curious about the final episode, lol!
That turkey looks like it’s saying just come a little closer….lol. Great pic!
Heard good things about The Book of Cold Cases and I am kind of curious about it. 🙂
LOL! I think you would like The Book of Cold Cases, I really loved the characters.
Oh wow I had no idea a wild tirkey looked like that! And I watched two episodes of Bridgerton yesterday!
I’m finally watching the second episode tonight, lol.
I wish I had a modicum of the skill your husband has for photos. I hope you have a great reading week Tammy!

He really is skilled, I have to admit. He practices A LOT:-)
I’m excited for Sea of Tranquility — although I’m so behind on everything else I planned to read that it may be a while before I get to it. Enjoy your week!
Me too, sooo behind!
Sometimes slow weeks are good for the brain. But I hope next week you’ll be able to read more:)
Oh, and that’s not a sequoia, Tammy!
What’s not a sequoia, lol??? Are you talking about the turkey?
Yes, City of Dusk didn’t work for me, it felt very YA, I had a few issues and the slow pacing definitely didn’t help.. I hope it picks up for you.
What a fantastic picture – the colors are amazing.
Lynn 😀
It’s going slow but I’m making myself finish it this week, lol.
That turkey picture is so cool! You’ve got some more reviews I need to check out. I’m going to plan an hour a day I think during my spring break this week to get caught up on commenting. So a lot of that will be reviews on your blog. lol Have a great week!

Thanks Lisa, you too:-)
My husband and son were out of town this weekend so I binged the entire second season of Bridgerton, lol. It was just as addicting as the first season.
Oh wow, I wish I could have done that!
I love the Sequoias, so beautiful! And I love the photo. 🙂 I’m excited to see your thoughts on all the books you’re reading! Hope you have a great week!
Thanks Jordan, you too!
Currently reading City of Dusk, it started off slow but it’s getting better! I wish I wasn’t so busy because I wanted to have started the Simone St. James in audio already, but ack, I’ve fallen behind big time.
Your husband keeps topping himself. That pic is National Geographic worthy. The detail is phenomenal. I’m really excited to read The Book of Cold Cases.
