Buffy’s Corner 3/27/22 – Looking at the Week Ahead

Welcome to Buffy’s Corner, where I take a look at what’s coming up this week on the blog! I’m linking up with The Sunday Post over at Kimberly’s blog, The Caffeinated Reviewer:-D

Has anyone binged Bridgerton Season 2 yet? I’ve been busy all weekend so I haven’t started it yet, but I’m excited to dive in. Hopefully I can watch a couple of episodes today. My hubby took a trip to the Sequoias last week and got some great photos. One of them is at the end of this post:-)

Upcoming reads & reviews:

It’s been a slow reading week, but I’m almost finished with The Book of Cold Cases, so I’ll definitely get a review of it up this week. The City of Dusk is going slowly but it’s going to be my focus to finish reading this week, so you’ll most likely see a review next week. After that I’m diving in my April books, starting with Sea of Tranquility.

Other posts this week:

Wednesday is Future Fiction, Thursday I’ll post my March Wrap-Up, The Friday Face-Off is “two book comparison”. It’s also the 1st of April, can you believe it? So I’ll probably double up and post my What’s On My Plate for April as well. And finally, I have a nice book haul to share on Saturday!

In case you missed:

  1. That displaying turkey really is an incredible bird. So many details and so much more color than we might expect. I love the face on perspective. I look forward to reading your thoughts on The Book of Cold Cases.

  2. That turkey looks like it’s saying just come a little closer….lol. Great pic!
Heard good things about The Book of Cold Cases and I am kind of curious about it. 🙂

  3. will

Sometimes slow weeks are good for the brain. But I hope next week you’ll be able to read more:)

Oh, and that’s not a sequoia, Tammy!

  4. Yes, City of Dusk didn’t work for me, it felt very YA, I had a few issues and the slow pacing definitely didn’t help.. I hope it picks up for you.
What a fantastic picture – the colors are amazing.
    Lynn 😀

  5. Currently reading City of Dusk, it started off slow but it’s getting better! I wish I wasn’t so busy because I wanted to have started the Simone St. James in audio already, but ack, I’ve fallen behind big time.
