Welcome to Buffy’s Corner, where I take a look at what’s coming up this week on the blog! I’m linking up with The Sunday Post over at Kimberly’s blog, The Caffeinated Reviewer:-D
First of all, Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there! In particular, my own dad and my husband:-) I got to spend yesterday with my mom and dad, no masks! And it was lovely.
Upcoming reviews:
I have not been able to read much this past week. Lots of stuff popped up to wreck my normal schedule, you know how it goes. So I may or may not get two reviews up this week. I’m currently reading two books: For the Wolf which is pretty good so far but a little on the slow side. I’ll give you a full report in my review. I’m also reading The Return of the Sorceress which is very short and I’m really enjoying it.
Upcoming reads:
June is slipping through my fingers! Aahhhhh I still have so many June books to get through. I will continue my mood reading and pick whichever of these sounds good, ha ha. Don’t you love surprises?
Other posts:
On Tuesday I’m sharing my Five Star Predictions for the 2nd Half of 2021! On Wednesday check in for Future Fiction and see the new upcoming books I’ve found, and the Friday Face-Off is “upside down/topsy turvy” but I believe I’ve already done an upside down Friday Face-Off, so I’m not sure what I’ll do yet.
In case you missed…
Here are my posts from last week, if you missed any:
The Friday Face-Off: Dizzy/Out of Perspective
Ten Low by Stark Holborn – Review 4.5/5 stars
Five Star Predictions for the First Half of 2021 – How I Did
The Wisteria Society of Lady Scoundrels by India Holton – Review 3.5/5 stars
The picture is amazing! And I am glad you managed to visit your parents!!
I hopw you would read, and enjoy, The Witness For the Dead!
I can’t wait!
Yes, happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there. Upside down/topsy-turvy is a hard one, good luck.

Yeah, it will be a last minute post, lol.
I love that pic! Amazing! And sounds like you had a great time with family! Hope your week goes well!
Thanks Hasini!
Can’t wait to see your full thoughts on For the Wolf! 🙂
Me too, ha ha. I need to finish it first:-)
Can’t wait to see your 5 star predictions this week! I enjoyed looking at your last ones and how they ended up. This was a less busy week for me. But so hot that I got to stay in and read. Hope you have a good week for reading!

June was way too short, lol.
I hope to read For the Wolf soon and thanks to you I know it’s slow at least in the beginning. And that picture of the sunset is gorgeous!
Thanks Sophie!
I can’t wait for The Witness for the Dead — my copy arrives Tuesday! Have a great week.
Thanks Lisa!
June has been speeding right by! My kids are now out of school so I have them at home now while I’m still working, so that’s slowed down my reading life some too. So yeah I know how it goes!

I can imagine, kids home for the summer will definitely be an adjustment!
I have a couple of books by Joe R. Lansdale on my TBR list but haven’t got around to reading them yet, so will be interested to see what you think of Moon Lake.

It’s been years since I’ve read him, I’m excited!
Glad to hear The Return of the Sorceress is going well. I know what you mean about sometimes just not having the time you’d like to read more. And I’m very glad to hear you had some time with your folks. I’m cherishing that kind of time more and more these days.
I guess readers and book lovers will never have as much time to read as we want:-)
Yay for getting to spend time with your parents. I’m really hoping to see both of mine in the coming weeks as well. Thanks for sharing another gorgeous photo from your hubby. The colors and all of the details he captured in the clouds are truly stunning!
Thanks Suzanne!
