After Bones, the show I’m most excited for this fall is Dexter. And this season promises to be one whopper of an angst-filled adventure. As last season ended, Dexter was caught in the act of killing – by his sister, Deb. This season picks up right where we left off. Dexter Season 7 premiers this Sunday, September 30 on Showtime. If you’ve never seen Dexter, I highly recommend catching up on Seasons 1-6 first. This may be the best show on TV. What do you think?
There is so much going on between Deb and Dexter right now that they are going to need 2 seasons to work it out. I mean as if discovering he is a killer wasn’t enough, she was all torn up over being sexually attracted to Dex last season. I was talking to a coworker at DISH about the upcoming season, and he thinks that Deb and Dex are going to team up (eww). I don’t think Deb could really let herself break the law, much less kill, or be romantically involved with Dexter, it is just too far from her by-the-book character. I am going to miss the premier tonight because of my daughter’s dance recital, but I have it set to record. I am going to save all of the episodes this season on my Hopper’s giant hard drive because I know they are going to be packed with foreshadowing details for the final season.
I’ve heard that the next two seasons are essentially one continuous story line, so it’s a good idea to save the episodes of Season 7. I agree with you, I don’t think Deb and Dexter will “get together” (yuck!) or start killing together. I’m so curious to see how the writers will handle this sticky situation. Hope you enjoy it!
