October 2026 Reading Wrap-Up

October turned out to be an excellent month for books! I didn’t get to nearly as many as I wanted to (my TBR was soooo out of control), but everything I read was rated four stars and up. You can’t really ask for more than that! Here are the books I read this month, and they’re linked to my reviews:

The Chain House by J.H. Markert

Mazywood by Tananarive Due

The Porcelain Sisters by Daryl Gregory

Find Me Where It Ends by Cassandra Khaw

The Killing of a Chestnut Tree by Oliver K. Langmead

Entities to Lovers by Mallory Marlowe

Night of the Mallrats by Nicolina Torres

A Waltz of Sinister Import by Stephanie Burgis

Off the Reservation by Stephen Graham Jones

It Looks Like You in the Dark by Mathilda Zeller

I haven’t done this in a long time, but I’m bringing it back! Here are my top five viewed posts for October. Not much change from last month! The first three lists are still pretty popular, probably because it’s spooky season. And Whalefall doesn’t surprise me because the movie recently came out.

  1. Find Me Where it Ends looks so good! I’m trying to go through the library for it, but the itch to splurge and grab a copy is strong.
